Director of Institutional Strategy and Effectiveness

This Director of Institutional Strategy and Effectiveness reports to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and is responsible for providing the data and analyses necessary to evaluate and achieve the institution’s strategic priorities. The Director oversees the Office of Institutional Strategy and Effectiveness (OISE) and is responsible for the operational development of the office, its budget, and the supervision of its staff. The Director is responsible for providing and interpreting institutional research and academic-planning support services to the campus community. In doing so, the Director is expected to collaborate with numerous offices and divisions across the institution, including Budget & Finance, Enrollment Services, the academic colleges, branch campuses, Grants & Research, Student Success and Engagement, Distance Education, Information Technology, and other offices engaged in data analysis and research. The OISE provides support to individual faculty and staff engaging in research and development projects. In addition, the Director oversees the University’s curricular and co-curricular assessment efforts and provides leadership and support for those areas seeking external accreditation. The Director acts as the liaison to UW System leadership, particularly the Office of Policy Analysis and Research (OPAR), with regard to institutional research.

Custodian (1st Shift) – Open to UW System Employees Only

This position reports to the Custodial Services Program Supervisor and maintains the overall appearance and cleanliness of the designated work area.  Work performed in this position includes manual cleaning and maintenance of UWGB buildings.  General areas of responsibility include: cleaning offices, restrooms, and other building areas; maintaining all floor surfaces including mopping, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, and refinishing; cleaning windows (inside and outside); cleaning furniture; assisting with furniture, piano and equipment moves as required; stocking restrooms and custodial work areas with necessary supplies and products; waste and recycling removal; snow removal and salting of building entrances. This position will be required to drive a State vehicle and travel between work locations as needed.

University Services Associate 2

This position reports to the department chairs of Human Biology (HUB), Natural and Applied Sciences (NAS), and the Resch School of Engineering (RSoE) and is responsible for primary administrative and office support for these units, including managing the office functions. Other responsibilities include maintaining the vehicle fleet, including the reservations system, administering paperwork for student hires faculty/staff purchases, and providing backup budgetary support as needed.

Student Services Specialist (Sheboygan Campus)

This position reports to the Green Bay One Stop Shop (GBOSS) Manager and works in the UW Green Bay Sheboygan Campus Student Center to provide accurate and timely information and advice regarding Admissions, Student Records, and Financial Aid to prospective and current students, alumni, university staff, and general public via telephone, e-mail and face-to-face interactions. Develop and maintain thorough knowledge and operational proficiency in SIS student records, advising, admissions and financial aid modules. Assist students with problem diagnosis and resolution by acquiring information, suggesting alternatives and explaining recourse for appealing decisions. Interpret rules, regulations and procedures. Answer general questions about academic programs, services, resources and business practices.

Facilities Repair Worker

This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and will be responsible for maintenance, repair, and general operation of the University Housing Buildings. These responsibilities include inspection, repair, and maintenance of interior and exterior building structures. These duties may include, but not be limited to, carpentry, masonry, cabinetry, plumbing, locks, doors, windows, stairwells, safety equipment, furniture repair, seasonal activities, and repairing shop equipment. This position will also maintain an appropriate parts inventory, order parts when necessary, and provide professional advice on the materials and time required to complete various tasks. Associate Director of Student Life

The Associate Director for Student Life is responsible for the management and leadership of the Office of Student Life a unit within the University Union. This position has the critical role of creating dynamic student energy and engagement on-campus. The Associate Director will also be a leader in creating an inclusive programming and student involvement plan for campus to support UWGB’s priority on diversity, inclusion and engagement.

The Associate Director will directly supervise full-time staff and will challenge and support them in creating vibrant programs and activities to engage students. Student engagement is a direct predictor of student success and supports UWGB’s vision of access. Key components of the position include programming, first-year experience programs, supervision, mentoring, and engagement with UWGB community. Financial Specialist Senior

This position reports to the University Union Assistant Director-Business Operations, and provides financial and administrative support for the University Union, Student Organizations and the Office of Student Life. Duties primarily consist of auditing, monitoring, reconciliation, report development, reallocating expenses, and general office and project support.  The Financial Specialist Senior also provides support to various University Union staff related to the specific functions and areas, and supervises Student Financial positions.

Director of Men’s Basketball Operations

This position reports to the Head Men’s Basketball Coach and will coordinate the video recording and editing of practices and games as directed by Head Coach. Break down video of practices/games and provide to coaching staff for use in planning practices and workouts (team and individual) and break down opposing team game film and assist in the creation of a scouting report for all opponents. Coordinate travel arrangements for all men’s basketball away games including prepare team travel expense reports that include required documentation for all expenses incurred and track expenses to ensure actual expenses stay within the team travel budget. Assist with the recruitment of student-athletes, including but not limited to: development of recruiting materials to provide prospective student athletes, official and unofficial visits, break down of video provided by prospective student athletes; coordinate film exchange with opponents.

Academic Technology Specialist (Marinette Campus)

This position reports to the Media Specialist and is responsible for providing operational and technical support for classroom technology, videoconferencing, and distance education systems. This position will assist the faculty and staff by answering questions and providing training for all classroom technology and media equipment. In addition, this position will also serve as the help desk technician “in the field” by helping solve client problems, conducting on-site training as needed, and working with the Help Desk at the main branch to resolve workstation and other technology related issues.
