Facilities Repair Worker

This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and will be responsible for maintenance, repair, and general operation of the University Housing Buildings. These responsibilities include inspection, repair, and maintenance of interior and exterior building structures. These duties may include, but not be limited to, carpentry, masonry, cabinetry, plumbing, locks, doors, windows, stairwells, safety equipment, furniture repair, seasonal activities, and repairing shop equipment. This position will also maintain an appropriate parts inventory, order parts when necessary, and provide professional advice on the materials and time required to complete various tasks. This position may also direct the work of student and/or temporary employees.
