The founding Dean of the College of Health, Education and Social Welfare provides academic and administrative leadership and oversight of interdisciplinary and disciplinary programs in the College. The Dean is responsible for budget, personnel, curriculum, strategic planning and decisions for the College. The Dean of the College of Health, Education and Social Welfare will work collaboratively with diverse constituencies along with the Deans of Science and Technology; the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business; and the College of Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences to promote the University. Dean of the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business

The founding Dean of the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business will provide academic and administrative leadership for and oversight over all School of Business programs. The Dean is responsible for budget, personnel, curriculum, strategic planning and decisions for the School. The Dean will be expected to work professionally with diverse constituencies to promote the University and the mission of the School of Business. The Dean will work in a collaborative fashion with the Deans of the College of Health, Education and Social Welfare; the College of Science and Technology; and the College Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences on matters of mutual concerns.  The Dean reports to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and serves on the Provost’s Administrative Council.

The Dean will inspire and lead the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business through the AACSB accreditation process. The business school is expected to grow significantly as their academic programs and scholarship become nationally recognized while at the same time aligned with key economic and business sectors in Northeast Wisconsin. The Dean will develop a vigorous program of external networking with business including establishing partnerships to connect the Cofrin School of Business to the local and regional economy.

Custodian (Third Shift)

The University of Wisconsin – Green Bay has a current vacancy for a full time, third shift Custodian in the Kress Events Center. This position works under the general supervision of the Custodial Services Supervisor, and is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of their designated areas.

This position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Clean offices, locker rooms, aerobic/dance rooms, event media rooms, gymnasiums, restrooms, and other building areas
  • Maintain all floor surfaces including mopping, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, and refinishing.
  • Clean windows (inside and outside).
  • Clean furniture.
  • Assist with furniture, piano, and equipment moves as required.
  • Stock restrooms and custodial work areas with necessary supplies and products.
  • Remove waste and recycling.
  • Perform snow removal and salting of building entrances.
  • This position will be required to drive a State vehicle and travel between work locations as needed.

Custodian Lead

The Custodian-Lead position at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts (WCPA) must be able to lead by example. This position works under the general supervision of the Custodial Services Program Supervisor and is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance of the WCPA.

This position includes the following responsibilities:

  • Monitor inventory of supplies and initiate supply requests as needed.
  • Monitor the facilities schedule of events to anticipate custodial needs.
  • Schedule student and LTE staff according to the needs of the area.
  • Perform cleaning tasks assigned to custodial staff.
  • Use equipment and cleaning products to maintain the buildings appearance.
  • Perform setup for special events as needed.
  • Train new staff.
  • Delegate work assignments to students and LTE staff as necessary.
  • Perform site inspections of assigned areas.

Human Resources Assistant 2:

Under the general direction of the Human Resources Specialist, this position coordinates and enters personnel transaction data in the Human Resources System (HRS), processes student employment paperwork and handles various recruitment activities for the divisions of Professional Studies, Outreach and Adult Access, Enrollment Services and Dean of Students. This position also serves as the campus coordinator for US Citizenship and Immigration Services, coordinates orientation and onboarding for new employees, provides general administrative support, and performs a variety of other Human Resource related activities. This position will serve as an HR liaison with internal and external staff, and interact with others to resolve problems and communicate policy and procedure information as needed.

Grant Writer

Under the direction of the Director of Grants & Research in the Office of Grants & Research, the position of Grant Writer/Development Specialist works with members of the campus community to develop proposals to secure funding from public and private sources.  Additionally, this position works closely with faculty, staff, and administrators to provide information and assist with grant writing activities using an inclusive, customer service-oriented approach to support the work of diverse individuals and groups.

University Services Associate 2

The University Services Associate 2 is responsible for administrative and program support operations for the Professional Program in Education and Phuture Phoenix.  The duties include serving as receptionist, preparation and dissemination of correspondence, scheduling appointments, and coordinating meeting and travel arrangements.  This position will provide direct support to the Professional Program in Education Chair, the Phuture Phoenix Director and the faculty and staff in both areas.

This position will also perform the financial related activities of the Phuture Phoenix program, including budget reconciliation, preparation and processing of financial reports and maintenance of related financial and donor records.  The University Services Associate 2 will also service as liaison between the Phuture Phoenix program and select external constituents.
