The University of Wisconsin – Green Bay seeks applicants for two Human Resources Assistant positions. Candidates who apply to this posting will be considered for both open positions.
These positions include the following responsibilities:
Human Resources Assistant 1:
Under the general direction of the Human Resources Specialist, this position serves as the lead worker for personnel transaction entry. This position coordinates and enters personnel transaction data in the Human Resources System (HRS), processes student employment paperwork and handles various recruitment activities for the divisions of Liberal Arts and Sciences, Information Services, Library and Provost office. Other responsibilities of this position include employee exit processing, fiscal year end monitoring, and assisting with miscellaneous administrative duties. This position will serve as an HR liaison with internal and external staff, and interact with others to resolve problems and communicate policy and procedure information as needed.
Human Resources Assistant 2:
Under the general direction of the Human Resources Specialist, this position coordinates and enters personnel transaction data in the Human Resources System (HRS), processes student employment paperwork and handles various recruitment activities for the divisions of Professional Studies, Outreach and Adult Access, Enrollment Services and Dean of Students. This position also serves as the campus coordinator for US Citizenship and Immigration Services, coordinates orientation and onboarding for new employees, provides general administrative support, and performs a variety of other Human Resource related activities. This position will serve as an HR liaison with internal and external staff, and interact with others to resolve problems and communicate policy and procedure information as needed.
