Financial Specialist Senior

This position reports to the Director of Facilities Management and Planning and provides financial and administrative support for the Department of Facilities Management and Planning and is responsible for the daily operation of the Facilities Department financial systems, including monitoring the departmental budget and subsequent generation of reports.  This position will also serve as the secondary contact for support of the TMA and customer service contact for the department.

Executive Director of Advancement

This position reports to the Vice Chancellor for Advancement and identifies, qualifies, cultivates and solicits individuals and organizations for philanthropic support of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay (UWGB). The Executive Director builds relationships, solicits and secures gifts and pledges, and provides regular stewardship of donors and their gifts. New Summer Leave Reporting Process Implemented June 2, 2019

A new, simplified summer leave reporting process was implemented June 2 for 9-month Faculty, Academic Staff and Limited Appointees (FAASLI) who have a Summer Session or Summer Service position.

Nine-month FAASLI who are employed over the summer months are required to complete monthly summer leave reports even if no leave was taken during this time period. Failure to report leave during the summer will result in a sick leave reduction.

To access the new leave reporting process, Log into the MyUW System portal. Launch the Time and Absence app and click on the new tab: Summer Appointment Leave Reporting. Note: All monthly employees will see the new tab even if they do not have a Summer Session or Summer Service position. If an employee without a summer appointment clicks on the new tab, it will simply indicate that no Summer Session/Service found. Twelve month FASCLI should continue to report all of their leave via the Request Absence tab.

Highlights of the simplified summer leave reporting process include:

  • One screen to record either sick leave taken or no leave was taken
  • Elimination of the need to select a specific job for entry purposes
  • Ability to enter summer leave beyond the summer period

Office Manager – Counseling and Health Center (75% Project Appointment)

This position reports to the Director of Counseling and Health, and manages the billing, purchasing, and budget processes for the Counseling and Health Center. This position also provides administrative assistance to the director and contracted staff, including maintaining provider contracts. Additionally, this position supports the client check in, triaging, scheduling, and clinical record processes for the Counseling and Health Center. This is a 75%, one-year project appointment. Typical work hours will be Monday through Friday, between 7:45 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., with the majority of scheduled work hours during the academic year.

Student Services Coordinator (Internal Vacancy)

This position reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs/Director of Graduate Studies and will serve as the primary contact for currently enrolled and potential graduate students. This individual will ensure that student academic support needs are met by managing student activities from initial interest in the programs, to assisting potential students with the application and admissions process, to monitoring students’ progress toward degree completion, and counseling prospective and admitted students about degree/academic requirements. The Student Services Coordinator will also be responsible for maximizing the available technology for the purpose of recruiting students to UW-Green Bay. A special emphasis is placed on developing and implementing robust applications for the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software, along with developing reports to support analysis of KPI and ROI for the Director of Graduate Studies and developing operational policies.

Technology Support Specialist (Marinette Campus)

This position reports to the Campus Executive Officer at the Marinette campus and is responsible for providing operational and technical support for classroom technology, videoconferencing, and distance education systems. This position will assist the faculty and staff by answering questions and providing training for all classroom technology and media equipment. In addition, this position will also serve as the help desk technician “in the field” by helping solve client problems, conducting on-site training as needed, and working with the Help Desk at the main branch to resolve workstation and other technology related issues as needed.

Crunchy Chicken Salad

IngredientsP1140059

  • 2 cups chunked cooked chicken
  • ½ cup celery
  • ¼ cup green pepper
  • ¼ onion
  • ½ cucumber
  • 1 small diced apple (leave the peel on)
  • ½ cup grapes
  • ¼ cup yogurt, plain

Directions

  1. Use leftover cooked chicken, or cook enough chicken to make 2 cups of chicken pieces.
  2. Chop the celery and green pepper. Peel and chop ¼ of an onion. Peel and chop half of a cucumber.
  3. Chop the apple into pieces. It’s OK to leave the peel on the apple. Cut the grapes in half.
  4. Put all the ingredients in a large bowl. Stir together.
  5. Serve on lettuce, crackers, or bread.

Makes 5 servings

Each serving is about ¾ cup each and provides: 140 calories, 4.5 g fat, 65 mg sodium, 9 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 17 g protein.
