Financial Aid Officer

This position reports to Financial Aid Assistant Director – Student Services and evaluates and verifies financial aid applications, assists with reporting to facilitate the awarding of financial aid to qualifying students, triages financial aid processes, and awards financial aid.

This position will serve multiple roles within the Financial Aid Office.  Duties will include file review and verification, working with students and/or families, as well as being available to discuss or present on financial aid at various on or off campus events.  Will assist with awarding various Title IV and State funds, as well as University and external scholarship processing.  Accuracy and attention to detail are required.

Assistant Professor – Psychology

Accounting Assistant (2 Vacancies, Project Appointments)

The Controller’s Office at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is recruiting for two approximately 18-month, full-time Accounting Assistants. These positions will serve as a critical team members during the upcoming transition to Workday, which will replace our current accounting software and will report to the Assistant Controller.

One Accounting Assistant position will assist with general accounting work including, but not limited to, salary transfers, assist in recording various accounting transactions, initiate deposits, oversee online credit card payments, and other accounting tasks.

The other Accounting Assistant position will assist with grant accounting including, but not limited to, entry of grant budgets, reporting of gifts and grants to the UW System Board of Regents, creation of invoices to granting agencies, monitor gift and grant spending, electronic file preparation and other tasks as assigned.

Custodian (1st Shift)

This position reports to the Custodial Services Supervisor and maintains the overall appearance and cleanliness of the designated work area.  Work performed in this position includes manual cleaning and maintenance of UWGB buildings.  General areas of responsibility include: cleaning offices, restrooms, and other building areas; maintaining all floor surfaces including mopping, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, and refinishing; cleaning windows (inside and outside); cleaning furniture; assisting with furniture, piano and equipment moves as required; stocking restrooms and custodial work areas with necessary supplies and products; waste and recycling removal; snow removal and salting of building entrances. This position will be required to drive a State vehicle and travel between work locations as needed.

Deadline Extended: Admissions & Recruitment Coordinator II

This position reports to the Assistant Director of Admissions and serves as a key member of the recruitment and enrollment team. The individual represents the institution and is responsible for building positive, professional relationships with prospective students with a goal of attracting, admitting, and enrolling a talented, diverse student body. This team member will meet regularly with prospective/admitted students and their supporters and is expected to effectively communicate the benefits of a UWGB experience. This individual will plan, develop, coordinate, manage, and execute the recruitment and admissions process in alignment with the institution’s strategic goals. The Admissions & Recruitment Coordinator will conduct high school visits in Southeast Wisconsin meeting with prospective students, their parents, and high school staff. Extensive travel in Southeast Wisconsin is expected throughout the year, especially during the fall and spring recruitment seasons.

This position requires excellent project and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Accuracy, attention to detail, follow-through, and reliability are extremely important in this position.

His educational background includes a B.S. in Business Administration with an emphasis in Management from UW-Green Bay.

He would like to share that he grew up in Suamico, Wisconsin. In his spare time, Mitchel is a budding writer and poet hoping to be published. He enjoys seeing theatrical performances in his spare time. He likes to read, listen to music, and cherish time spent with family. He was recently made an uncle when his brother’s wife had a baby girl!
