Student Engagement Assistant

This position reports to the Director of Student Engagement and provides general administrative support to assigned administrator and department. Establishes, maintains, and ensures compliance of department records to ensure departmental goals. Tracks department funds and purchasing. May handle a variety of clerical, student support, and facility coordination duties.

Responsibilities include coordination and supervision for front desk operations, records and forms management, budget account reconciliation, supply ordering, invoice processing, coordination and processing of student employment, administrative support for programs and events including commencement, maintaining and managing the programming calendar and database support, and Student Organization requests for supplies, copying, mailings, or travel. This position will also work to create a safe and inclusive environment for all UW Green Bay students where all feel a sense of place and pride.

Career Advisor (Multiple Vacancies)

UW-Green Bay is embarking on a new model for Career Services focused on providing intrusive, supportive career advising to students within our four Colleges that will lead to more intentional connections and success.  Career Advisors are responsible for building strong, intentional relationships and advising students in a variety of career development areas including self-discovery and reflection, understanding the world of work, experiential learning, advanced education, and job and internship searching.

Career Advisors are responsible for designing engaging and meaningful workshops and programs, coordinating networking opportunities, introducing and connecting students to work-based learning experiences, and developing intentional relationships with employers, faculty, and staff members. Under this new model, Career Advisors will lead and support the efforts of the Career Services Office directly in one of the four Colleges at UW-Green Bay to provide services tailored to specific majors. Career Services Manager

This position reports to the Director of Career Services. UW-Green Bay is embarking on a new model for Career Services focused on providing intrusive, supportive career advising to students within our four Colleges that will lead to more intentional connections and success.  The Career Services Manager will be a key leader in developing and implementing a new model focusing on embedding Career Advisors within the Colleges. This position will play an intricate role in strategizing new, meaningful and intentional ways to build and maintain relationships with students taking courses online and/or in-person at our four locations.

The Career Services Manager will build intentional relationships with students to provide individualized career advising to students who are undecided in their choice of major and may teach a career-related course. The Manager will think creatively to develop and maintain a communication plan to connect with and manage interactions with students. In collaboration with the Director and the College Deans, the Career Services Manager will assist in developing a plan to prioritize and expose students to work-based learning experiences while attending UW-Green Bay. The position will focus on how and when the office connects with current students and the collection of data, including first-destination data on our graduates, to share with constituents. The Manager will also help to champion our diversity and inclusion efforts within the office to better serve underrepresented students. The Manager will strive to create a welcoming, equitable, and inclusive work environment.
