Cashier

This position operates under the general supervision of the Bursar and primarily reviews, approves, and advises on a variety of advanced financial transactions. May prepare some financial transactions and reconciles transactions. Recommends, controls and process improvements, troubleshoots advanced financial errors. Maintains financial records, provides administrative processing support, and provides customer service for staff and customers in an assigned program area to support program financial management.

Position responsible for completing cash; check; credit card; and other electronic payment transactions with maintaining daily transaction record that will balance to system at end of day.  Provides friendly, helpful customer service to customers at the Cashier window and is responsible for overseeing the training and daily activities of seasonal cashiers. Position also serves as “author” in report writing software, responsible for creating and maintaining queries utilized by department.

Administrative Assistant III

Under the general direction of the Assistant to the Dean, the Associate Dean of the Cofrin School of Business/Director of the of the Impact MBA program and the Chair(s) of Accounting and Finance/Business Administration, this position will provide administrative and program support for the Impact MBA program, and to faculty and staff within the Department of Accounting & Finance, the Department of Business Administration, and the Cofrin School of Business.

This position reports to the Chair of Education and provides administrative, program, and budgetary support to the departments of Education and Nursing & Health Studies within the College of Health, Education & Social Welfare. New Paid Parental Leave Policy Effective July 1, 2024

The Universities of Wisconsin is implementing a new Paid Parental Leave policy that will provide eligible employees with up to six weeks (240 hours) of paid time off within a 12-month period following a qualifying birth or adoptive event. The new policy is effective July 1, 2024.

The leave time granted under the Paid Parental Leave policy allows the employee time to bond with their new child, adjust to their new family situation, and balance personal obligations that result from a birth or adoptive event.

Policy Overview

Highlights of the Paid Parental Leave policy:

    • Must have completed six months of continuous employment with the Universities of Wisconsin at the time of the qualifying event.
    • Provided up to six weeks of paid time off every 12 months following a qualifying birth or adoptive event. The benefit is prorated for employees working less than 1.0 Full-Time Equivalent (FTE).
    • When an employee experiences multiple qualifying events during the same 12-month period, the employee is eligible for up to a total of six weeks of paid parental leave.
    • A completed Paid Parental Leave Request Form must be submitted at least 30 calendar days in advance of the paid parental leave start date.
    • Paid Parental Leave will run concurrently with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and Wisconsin Family and Medical Leave Act (WFMLA) in cases where an eligible employee is also eligible for FMLA or WFMLA leave.

Assistant Teaching Professor – Nursing

The Nursing and Health Studies department at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay seeks applicants for an Assistant Teaching Professor position in Nursing.

Outreach Coordinator, CPE

This position is within the in the Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Training and reports to the Continuing Professional Education Program Manager. Provides general administrative support, manages and facilitates outreach training and development programs, including communication with instructors. Strengthens partnerships, ensures adherence to policy, and assists with program administration to promote stable and productive relationships between the university and local community. Strives to expand and ensure access to programs, facilities, and educational services to diverse audiences. Assists with tracking and managing the outreach program budget.

Supports program manager and other team members organizing and coordinating events, programs, conferences, and trainings as directed.

Educational programming focused on the areas of healthcare and human services, social services, nonprofits, community services and other areas.

Significant importance on strong customer service and responsiveness. Supports functions of the Wisconsin Caregiver Academy, Continuing Professional Education, and the Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI), and collaborates with Program Specialists to support outreach efforts and follow-up communication.

EXTENDED DEADLINE: CRM Application Administrator (1 Year Temporary)

This position reports to Director of Enterprise Applications. The CRM Application Administrator is responsible for configuring, integrating, administering, and providing advanced and varied consultation, project management, and operational support of highly complex applications or services with a large number of users. This position anticipates issues and devises resolution methodology to support the business operations of the institution.

This position will report to the Information Technology Division but will work collaboratively with multiple areas that utilize CRM technology, including Continuing Education, Enrollment Services, Graduation Studies and the Weidner Center. This position will act as the liaison between the Information Technology Business Analyst and the functional users for each department.  Specific job duties will include leading end-user meetings, ensuring collaboration between departments, providing training and functional end-user support.
