Financial Aid Director

This position reports to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Enrollment Services and contributes to institutional strategic and enrollment planning, provides unit leadership and budget direction, and ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines and unit strategy in support of awarding financial aid to qualifying students.

The Office of Financial Aid is led by the Director of Financial Aid who develops, implements, documents and evaluates all financial aid and scholarship programs. The director works collaboratively to recruit and retain students for the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay at all four of its campuses (Green Bay, Manitowoc, Marinette and Sheboygan.) UW-Green Bay is a regional comprehensive University that has strong community connections within the 16-county region and provides outreach to students and families to ensure all students are offered a pathway to their degree. UW-Green Bay is an access-oriented university that proudly serves over 52% of our students who identify as first-generation college students. Financial Aid is an integral part of student success and the Director of Financial Aid will lead their team and advise others across campus on implementation of financial aid.  The director is responsible for the awarding of and disbursement of the annual financial aid expenditures, a comprehensive financial aid budget of approximately $42 Million including federal, state, institution and foundation aid. The director also ensures compliance with regulatory guidelines and unit strategy in support of awarding financial aid to qualifying students. The Financial Aid Director oversees Veterans Services which is located within the Financial Aid Office.

Assistant Director of Recreation, Fitness, & Wellbeing

This position reports to the Director of University Recreation and coordinates and manages complex operations and program components as well as serves as the Deputy Director of UREC. The operational component includes, but is not limited to primary oversight of the UREC Front Desk and membership operations; lead department marketing and assessment initiatives; coordinating aspects of facility operations involving policy, schedule, risk management, security and safety; programming oversight fitness/wellness and wellbeing components; and personnel management.  Works cooperatively with other professional staff and students in accomplishing operational, programmatic, service and student development goals along with supporting the departmental strategic initiatives.  The position will work to create a welcoming, safe and inclusive environment for all UW-Green Bay students where all feel a sense of place and pride.

Custodian (1st Shift)

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Operations department welcomes your application for consideration for two open 1st shift Custodian positions. In this important role, you will make an impact on our students, faculty and staff by maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of your designated work area by manually cleaning and maintaining the UW-Green Bay buildings. This includes but is not limited to cleaning offices, restrooms, and other building areas; maintaining all floor surfaces including mopping, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, and refinishing; cleaning windows (inside and outside); cleaning furniture; assisting with furniture, piano and equipment moves as required; stocking restrooms and custodial work areas with necessary supplies and products; waste and recycling removal; snow removal and salting of building entrances. This position will be required to drive a State vehicle and travel between work on-campus locations as needed.

HR Launches a New Support Model

Since early spring, the Human Resources (HR) team has been diligently designing, and cross-training to develop a new way to support faculty and staff at UW – Green Bay.  This new Human Resources Talent Partner (HRTP) model, will provide integrated partnership with each department to enhance support across the employee life cycle, and will align well with Workday which will be implemented in July, 2025.

The HRTP assigned to your area will be able to assist you in recruitment, onboarding, learning & development, performance management, coaching on conflict resolution, employee engagement, and retention, offboarding, or Family Medical Leave (FMLA/WFMLA).  They will be your main point of contact for most HR matters.  When your requests are outside their areas of expertise, HRTP’s will direct you to the appropriate member of the team.

Administrative Services Professional, Wisconsin Training Registries

This position reports to the Executive Manager of the Wisconsin Training Registries and provides administrative support for the Wisconsin Training Registries within the Division of Continuing Education & Workforce Training. This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service for the Wisconsin Training Registries. As a liaison with internal and external people, this position interacts with a diverse audience of individuals and organizations by communicating procedural information, interpreting and implementing UW-System regulations and policies, and resolving complex problems as they occur. Administrative support includes registration, billing, payment, updating website and coordinating program logistics. The position calls for a highly organized, flexible, and self-directed individual with excellent customer service skills.

Assistant Teaching Professor – Marketing (Sales)

The Department of Marketing & Management in Austin E. Cofrin School of Business at the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay invites applications for an Assistant Teaching Professor in Marketing with a focus on Selling and Sales Management. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching and developing courses in Selling, Sales Management, and Marketing Research and to build impactful, extracurricular experiences for students passionate about selling.

The Cofrin School of Business values university-level teaching experience, the ability to teach a variety of classes related to the candidate’s academic field and preparation, engagement in institutional, community, and professional service, and experience working in the world of business.

The successful applicant will contribute to an academic unit which is growing in enrollment with programs in Marketing, Management, and Human Resource Management. The Department is supported by the newly opened Schwab Corporate Boardroom and ongoing efforts to establish the Marketing Hub and a new associated sales institute. The Austin E. Student Billing Specialist

Under general supervision of the Bursar, this position provides direct customer support and counseling in matters pertaining to student financial accounts. Other primary responsibilities include completion of the student refund process; assisting the Student Billing Coordinator in ensuring the accuracy of student financial information in the Student Information System (SIS); creating/verifying student 1098T documents; and ensures accurate setup of new term tuition, fees, and waivers. This position maintains record on Student Appeals and will assist the Student Billing Coordinator with accurate record keeping of collection agency placed accounts.
