HVAC Mechanic (OPEN TO UNIVERSITIES OF WISCONSIN EMPLOYEES ONLY)

Under the general supervision of the Building and Grounds Superintendent, the primary responsibilities of this position include the performance of HVAC preventative maintenance and HVAC equipment operation.  This includes investigating, resolving, and responding to trouble calls and complaints.  This position will also maintain the proper operation of heating and cooling distribution systems, ensure proper operations of HVAC instruments and controls, coordinate work with perform work on various other projects.

Facilities Technician II (Manitowoc Campus)

This Facilities Technician position works under supervision of the Buildings and Grounds Manager for the Manitowoc and Sheboygan Campuses.  The Facilities Technician performs general maintenance and repair to facilities, grounds, and equipment for the UW-Green Bay, Manitowoc Campus.  This work includes inspection, maintaining, and repairs basic of equipment and facilities to ensure property meets established standards and to prevent further damage.  Assists with operational maintenance as needed.

In addition, this position will perform preventative maintenance to building structures, including cosmetic and/or decorative improvements. This position will provide professional advice with materials and time required to complete various maintenance issues around the campus as assigned.

This position will be the second responder to afterhours emergency calls regarding fire alarms, lockouts, plumbing emergencies, and power outages, or other issues requiring immediate response to campus.

Rising Phoenix Manager

This position reports to the Executive Director of Early College Programs and will oversee the Rising Phoenix Program, including the planning, facilitation, and evaluation of services, assisting in the development of program policies and procedures, managing student recruitment and admissions, and supervising daily operations. Key responsibilities include budget coordination, data compilation, program evaluation, and staff supervision. The program offers cohorts of students from partner schools the opportunity to concurrently fulfill their high school graduation requirements and UW-Green Bay’s Associate of Arts and Sciences degree requirements at the same time.

The Rising Phoenix Manager will supervise and train Rising Phoenix Student Success Coaches, develop, refine, and document program processes, and ensure compliance with institutional policies. The Manager will teach sections of the First Year Seminar course for Rising Phoenix students each fall semester. Within the Division of Student Access and Success, the Manager will provide leadership aligned with the University’s mission and goals related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

University Reservations & Event Manager

The University Reservations & Events Manager is responsible for the leadership and day-to-day management of all programs and services supporting events and functions in the University Union and supported areas on the campus.  This position serves as a main campus administrator for our campus reservation system. This position assists with the development and implementation of University Union policies, procedures, and goals as they relate to the mission of the Union. This position reports to the Associate Director – Union Operations, and works cooperatively with other professional staff and students in accomplishing the operational, programmatic, services, and student development goals for the organization. This position will meet with internal and external customers to plan successful events and engage with the client before, during and after each event. Financial Aid Officer

This position reports to the Financial Aid Assistant Director – Technology & Compliance and evaluates and verifies financial aid applications, assists with reporting to facilitate the awarding of financial aid to qualifying students, triages financial aid processes, and awards financial aid.

This position will serve multiple roles within the Financial Aid Office. Duties will include file review and verification, working with students and/or families, as well as being available to discuss or present on financial aid at various on or off campus events.  Will assist with awarding various Title IV and State funds, as well as University and external scholarship processing.  Accuracy and attention to detail are required.
