Bellin Run 2025
It’s time to register for the 49th Annual Bellin Run! The Bellin Run will be an in-person and virtual event on Saturday June 14, 2025, in Green Bay. This 10K & 5K event is for runners and walkers of all participation levels.
UW-Green Bay is part of the Bellin Run Corporate Challenge. Being part of this program gets your race packet (bib and race shirt) will be delivered to the Green Bay campus and available for you to pick up in the Human Resources office about a week before the event (we will email you when it’s ready) if you register by May 15th:
Friends and family can be registered on our team so that they can receive these benefits as well.

HRS Extended Outage from 4:00 pm Friday, March 14 through 12:00 pm Sunday, March 16
Employees will not have access to online timesheets, earnings statements, and other related documents and services during a UW Human Resources System (HRS) outage from approximately 4:00 p.m. on Friday, March 14 through 12:00 p.m. Sunday, March 16. The outage is due to HRS System maintenance.
The following self-service features that employees access through the MyUW portal will be unavailable during this outage:

- Online timesheet
- Absence reporting
- Benefits Self Service
- Updates to personal information
- Access to electronic earnings statements, tax statements (W-2, 1042-S, etc.), leave statements and other HR, Payroll and Benefits documents
- Access to TAM job application service
- EPM Data Warehouse
- Security Requests for HRS/EPM
During this time, applicants will be unable to access the online applicant management system to apply for positions. Please contact jobs@uwgb.edu with any questions regarding this outage for applicants. All other questions can be directed to hr@uwgb.edu.
Academic Success Coach
The Academic Success Coach provides supplemental instruction for students enrolled in classroom, online, and/or laboratory course(s), and assists with the design and execution of administrative functions associated with academic instruction and the development of pedagogy/andragogy or assessment tools and resources to support quality student learning and promote high-impact practices.
As a member of the Learning Center Team, the position supports all the services offered by the Learning Center, with specific responsibilities for coordinating the Center’s peer tutoring services. This position reports to the Manager of the Learning Center.

Custodian (2nd Shift)
The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay Operations department welcomes your application for consideration for a 2nd shift Custodian position. In this important role, you will make an impact on our students, faculty and staff by maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of your designated work area by manually cleaning and maintaining the UW-Green Bay buildings. This includes but is not limited to cleaning offices, restrooms, and other building areas; maintaining all floor surfaces including mopping, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, and refinishing; cleaning windows (inside and outside); cleaning furniture; assisting with furniture, piano and equipment moves as required; stocking restrooms and custodial work areas with necessary supplies and products; waste and recycling removal; snow removal and salting of building entrances. This position will be required to drive a State vehicle and travel between work on-campus locations as needed.

This month’s new episode is a recording of a special LIVE podcast recorded on February 6, 2025 with Daniel Dickson, PhD. This episode discusses sleep hygiene, sleep disorders and ways to identify your own sleep patterns.
NOTE to those eligible for the 2025 Well Wisconsin Incentive, two episodes of Well Wisconsin Radio from season 4, dated November 2024 and later, will qualify for well-being activity credit.

This position reports to the Associate Director of Academic Advising & Retention and engages students in decision making processes and promotes appropriate and responsible choices on academic matters such as course selection and degree requirements. Maintains appropriate confidentiality, updates student advising records, and contributes to the development and delivery of academic advising related events and programs. Works to ensure students receive accurate, timely, and holistic advising services in support of promoting student success, retention, and program completion. Strives to create a welcoming, equitable, and inclusive work environment.

PRESENTATION OVERVIEW
Happiness not only feels good; it is good. Happy people are more productive, creative, resilient, socially connected and healthier, with stronger relationships and higher incomes. In this presentation, Sonja Lyubomirsky will describe research revealing when and why practices like expressing gratitude, acts of kindness and engaging in more social interactions work “best” to increase happiness and how simple activities can transform us into happier and more flourishing individuals.
ABOUT THE PRESENTER
Sonja Lyubomirsky (AB Harvard, summa cum laude; PhD Stanford) is Distinguished Professor of Psychology at the University of California, Riverside and author of the best-selling The How of Happiness and The Myths of Happiness, published in 39 countries. Her research on increasing happiness through gratitude, kindness and connection has earned numerous honors, including the AAAS Fellowship, an Honorary Doctorate, the Diener Award for Outstanding Midcareer Contributions in Personality Psychology, the Christopher Peterson Gold Medal, a Positive Psychology Prize and the Faculty of the Year Award (twice). She lives in Santa Monica, California, with her family.
