The Department of Social Work at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay invites applications for a Lecturer and Child Welfare Coordinator position. This is a 9-month academic year position with additional limited summer work associated with Child Welfare Coordinator duties. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the Title IV-E Long-Term Child Welfare Training Program and teaching courses in the BSW and MSW Programs. Graduate Student Status Examiner (60% Appointment)

This position reports to the Student Services Coordinator and is responsible for beginning-to-end admissions processing for graduate students, including data entry; evaluation of required, received, and missing items; and decision making for non-standard application files. The Graduate Student Status Examiner will assist the Student Services Coordinator with management of student records and will provide support for our students, faculty, staff, and alumni with academic record related issues. The position’s main focus is to provide the best service to students, faculty, staff, and alumni. In addition, the Graduate Student Status Examiner will assist the Graduate Studies Office with promotion of graduate programs, including attendance at recruiting fairs, occasional travel to branch locations in Sheboygan, Manitowoc, and Marinette, and development of graduate program brochures, banners, and websites in collaboration with University Marketing and Communications. Technology Support Specialist (Three Vacancies, One Each Marinette, Manitowoc, and Sheboygan Campuses, Open to UW System Employees Only)

This position reports to the Campus Executive Officer at the respective campus and is responsible for providing operational and technical support for classroom technology, videoconferencing, and distance education systems. This position will assist the faculty and staff by answering questions and providing training for all classroom technology and media equipment. In addition, this position will also serve as the help desk technician “in the field” by helping solve client problems, conducting on-site training as needed, and working with the Help Desk at the main branch to resolve workstation and other technology related issues as needed.

Campus and Executive Officer Assistant (Manitowoc Campus)

Facilities Maintenance Specialist – Locksmith (Deadline Extended)

This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of locksets and door hardware. This position will also perform general inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance of campus building structures including doors locks hardware and various campus equipment. Duties also include the maintenance of an appropriate parts inventory, ordering parts and providing professional advice on the materials and time required to complete various tasks. Director of Public Safety

This position reports to the Vice Chancellor for Business and Finance and is responsible for providing leadership in the planning, management and administration of all policing, security, parking and emergency response functions at the University of Wisconsin Green Bay, including its three locations in Marinette, Manitowoc and Sheboygan. Leadership will be consistent with the University’s mission, appropriate for an institution of higher education, and responsive to evolving expectations of the department. The director is responsible for implementing appropriate programs and procedures consistent with maintaining law, order and safety at all locations. The director has full statutory arrest authority as a peace officer in the State of Wisconsin. Decisions are guided by Wisconsin and Federal statutes, court decisions, and administrative codes, rules and regulations of state law enforcement agencies, UW-System and UW-Green Bay policies and procedures.

Work involves frequent communication and effective collaboration with university departments, student leadership, governmental agencies, local authorities and community leaders. This position requires extensive procedural knowledge and organizational skills to provide strategic, proactive and innovative leadership in the public safety function.

Power Plant Operator Senior

RCMS Assistant Director/Advisor

This position reports to the Director of TRIO and Precollege and serves as the primary contact for RCMS students, parents, and the community.  The Assistant Director is responsible for ensuring the success of each RCMS student through academic and personal counseling.  The Assistant Director should be familiar with the challenges and barriers that low income, first generation students and their families face in preparing for college and be ready to help RCMS students overcome the obstacles in their path to postsecondary education.

The RCMS Assistant Director/Advisor plans and implements college preparation curriculum, assists students through every part of the college preparation process (i.e. ACT prep., FAFSA, Admissions, Scholarships, Grants and Loans), and plans all summer field trips.  Recruitment of new students through on-site presentations and utilizing the network of precollege programs in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Minnesota is a primary focus for this position each spring.  The Assistant Director also has primary responsibility for the residence hall environment during the six-week summer session, including—in conjunction with the TRIO & Precollege Programs Director–interviewing, hiring, and supervising Resident Assistants (RAs) (including the Head RA).
