Power Plant Operator Senior

This position reports to the Power Plant Superintendent and will operate and service heat/chill equipment which provides heating and chilling to 16 buildings which are all connected by a series of underground tunnels. This position will also perform preventative maintenance of air handling equipment, make minor repairs to equipment, apply chemicals to boilers, tower, and chilled water systems.  This position works rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Campus Planner

This position reports to the Director of Facilities Management and Planning and participates in capital planning, budget preparation, space planning and design, and project management.  This professional position functions under limited supervision and is responsible for researching and developing complex documents that pertain to the needs of higher education.  Responsibilities will include site and transportation planning, architectural and mechanical systems, space planning, construction budgeting, and compliance with International Building Code and other regulatory requirements.  The position will prepare documents that support the university’s capital planning process in a way that is consistent with UW System policies and procedures.  Additionally, this position will effectively utilize computer-aided design software and database software to create and organize documents in an effective manner.

Director of Athletics

The Director of Athletics (AD) reports to the Chancellor and is a member of the Chancellor’s Cabinet. The AD will provide strategic vision, leadership, and effective management oversight of the Phoenix Division I athletic program.  A major responsibility of the AD will be to integrate the university athletic strategy into the overall University vision by developing and nurturing deep collaborations with University Advancement and the Divisions of Academic Affairs, Business & Finance, and University Inclusivity & Student Affairs.

This position provides administrative direction and strategic oversight to all intercollegiate and recreational sports and core activities, ensuring that all programs fully comply with institutional, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. The AD exercises oversight over all departmental budgetary, financial, operational, and Human Resources-related requests. Electrician

This position reports to the Building and Grounds Superintendent and is responsible of the maintenance and upkeep of the campus electrical system.  The University operates under various electrical voltages including 12,470 at the Substation, 477/280 and 208/120 in the buildings and around the grounds.  Position also includes responsibility of electrical installation during small projects and other repairs/modifications to the electrical system around campus.
