Building & Grounds Supervisor (Sheboygan & Manitowoc Campuses)

This is a responsible, managerial, and supervisory position reporting to the Associate Director of Facilities Management. The incumbent will secondarily report to the administrators of the Sheboygan and Manitowoc campus, as they can be interacting with them on a daily basis. This position is responsible for planning, scheduling, and directing the activities of semi-skilled and unskilled personnel engaged in building maintenance. The incumbent will to be a working supervisor that repairs mechanical equipment and building components as necessary, while providing leadership to their staff. The incumbent will provide a cursory inspection of the fleet vehicles used by each campus. This position is also responsible for making recommendations regarding long-range plans concerning fiscal needs, construction, maintenance and repair. Job duties are performed with a minimum of direction.

The incumbent will reside at either Sheboygan or Manitowoc campus and will travel to either campus on a weekly basis to supervise and maintain those facilities. Travel expenses are built into the position and travel is via a personal vehicle or one of the state vehicles on campus.

This position reports to the Physical Plant Program Manager 1 with daily direction from the Custodian Lead and maintains the overall appearance and cleanliness of the designated work area.  Work performed in this position includes manual cleaning and maintenance of the UW-Green Bay Sheboygan buildings.  General areas of responsibility include: cleaning offices, restrooms, and other building areas; maintaining all floor surfaces including mopping, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, and refinishing; cleaning windows (inside and outside); cleaning furniture; assisting with furniture, piano and equipment moves as required; stocking restrooms and custodial work areas with necessary supplies and products; waste and recycling removal; snow removal and salting of building entrances.

University Services Program Associate Financial – Open to UW-System Employee Only

The University Services Program Associate position assists in carrying out the mission and philosophy of the Housing and Residential Education. Housing and Residential Education provides housing for 2,000 students during the academic year and 2,000 guests during the summer months; and employs approximately 18 full-time staff and 100 student employees. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: a) departmental budget and financial management; b) technology management c) student employment and payroll; d) business operations, and e) departmental purchasing and travel. This position reports to the Assistant Director for Operations; and assumes additional responsibilities assigned by and makes recommendations to the Assistant Director. Work hours for this position are 7:45 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Purchasing Associate

Under the general supervision of the Purchasing Specialist, this position provides administrative support for the Purchasing Supervisor and is responsible for records management and contract administration for numerous campus contractual agreements. Additional responsibilities include overseeing and coordinating the ordering and management of campus photocopier and the cell phone program. This position serves as the lead person for new supplier setup and supplier management in Shared Financial System and ShopUW+. Additionally, the position coordinates and tracks PCard statement submissions and adjusts spend limits in the PCard bank website as well as notifying/tracking cardholders of delinquent statements.
