Chief Information Officer (CIO)

The Chief Information Officer (CIO) reports to the Chief Business Officer (CBO) and Senior Vice Chancellor for Institutional Strategy. The CIO will provide leadership, vision and strategy across the University to support the needs of the students, faculty, and staff and to advance the institutional mission in a multi-campus setting.  In the changing landscape of higher education, the CIO will commit to building an information technology (IT) program that adequately supports both the academic and administrative areas of the university.  The CIO will be responsible for all aspects of information technology at the university including enterprise solutions, administrative functions, academic support, cybersecurity, IT policies and strategic plans. The CIO will work with academic areas in the ongoing evaluation of educational technologies and distance learning applications, and will be responsible for understanding the full scope of technology needs of students, faculty, and staff and providing a continuous commitment to excellence in customer service and support.

The CIO is responsible for the delivery of a full spectrum of information technology products and services to the four locations, including application services, infrastructure services, networking and communication services, enterprise systems project management, information security, and serving as a catalyst for the development of an integrated data analytics program.

Key to success in this role will be close collaboration with University leadership to establish value-added IT services using innovative, cost-effective technologies that improve business efficiency and effectiveness. Data Reporting Specialist (Temporary)

This position reports to the Director of Institutional Strategy and Effectiveness and is responsible for managing data to support institutional research and academic planning. This position mines, compiles, organizes, and assesses data in order to provide accurate and timely information to leadership for strategic analysis and decision-making. Analyzes, plans, and creates complex data and report sets for academic and/or university program planning. Provides accurate and timely data to leadership for strategic decision making either within a school/college or institutional level.

Grounds Supervisor

This position reports to Assistant Director of Facilities Athletics/University Recreation/Kress Events Center and Supervises building and grounds staff to meet the needs of the university, its employees, and visitors. This position works closely with and reports directly to the Assistant Director of Facilities. This position is responsible for directing full time staff, student employees, in grounds operations. The position requires the ability to direct and instruct employees in safety training, safe operation of grounds equipment, and safe work practices. The position warrants a knowledge of smart turf practices as you will take the lead role in care of all Athletic and intermural fields, and turf areas. The position requires knowledge of best pesticide management practices, and the ability to safely apply pesticides and herbicides. The position also requires the knowledge of and participation in all landscape construction projects. It involves having the knowledge of, and ability to operate a wide variety of small and large equipment in grounds tasks, and snow and ice removal. You need the knowledge and skills for safe operating of different types and sizes of chainsaws when needed. The job requires the ability to participate in grounds mechanics and maintenance of all equipment assigned to the department. The position requires knowledge and training in smart turf and landscape practices.

Student Engagement Assistant

This position reports to the Director of Student Engagement and provides general administrative support to assigned administrator and department. Establishes, maintains, and ensures compliance of department records to ensure departmental goals. Tracks department funds and purchasing. May handle a variety of clerical, student support, and facility coordination duties.

Responsibilities include coordination and supervision for front desk operations, records and forms management, budget account reconciliation, supply ordering, invoice processing, coordination and processing of student employment, administrative support for programs and events including commencement, maintaining and managing the programming calendar and database support, and Student Organization requests for supplies, copying, mailings, or travel. This position will also work to create a safe and inclusive environment for all UW Green Bay students where all feel a sense of place and pride.

Career Advisor (Multiple Vacancies)

UW-Green Bay is embarking on a new model for Career Services focused on providing intrusive, supportive career advising to students within our four Colleges that will lead to more intentional connections and success.  Career Advisors are responsible for building strong, intentional relationships and advising students in a variety of career development areas including self-discovery and reflection, understanding the world of work, experiential learning, advanced education, and job and internship searching.

Career Advisors are responsible for designing engaging and meaningful workshops and programs, coordinating networking opportunities, introducing and connecting students to work-based learning experiences, and developing intentional relationships with employers, faculty, and staff members. Career Services Manager

This position reports to the Director of Career Services. UW-Green Bay is embarking on a new model for Career Services focused on providing intrusive, supportive career advising to students within our four Colleges that will lead to more intentional connections and success.  The Career Services Manager will be a key leader in developing and implementing a new model focusing on embedding Career Advisors within the Colleges. This position will play an intricate role in strategizing new, meaningful and intentional ways to build and maintain relationships with students taking courses online and/or in-person at our four locations.

The Career Services Manager will build intentional relationships with students to provide individualized career advising to students who are undecided in their choice of major and may teach a career-related course. The Manager will think creatively to develop and maintain a communication plan to connect with and manage interactions with students. In collaboration with the Director and the College Deans, the Career Services Manager will assist in developing a plan to prioritize and expose students to work-based learning experiences while attending UW-Green Bay. The position will focus on how and when the office connects with current students and the collection of data, including first-destination data on our graduates, to share with constituents. The Manager will also help to champion our diversity and inclusion efforts within the office to better serve underrepresented students.
