The UW-Green Bay Office of Human Resources is recruiting for an HR Talent Partner. The successful candidate will report to the Associate Director of Talent Management, and will join a highly collaborative team of professionals working to provide high quality, responsive HR support to the University community. This position will also serve as a critical team member during the upcoming transition to Workday, which will replace our current Human Resources System (HRS).

The HR Talent Partner (HR Generalist) is responsible for serving as a trusted advisor and facilitator to their assigned group(s) of colleges and departments to provide administrators, managers, supervisors, faculty, and staff consultative and transactional HR support and services relevant to the entire career lifecycle. Specifically, the HR Talent Partner will be responsible for day-to-day coordination of HR functions for their assigned group(s) in areas such as coaching/employee relations, performance management, onboarding, offboarding, recruitment, learning & development, FMLA, position description development, and employee engagement. In addition, the HR Talent Partner may independently facilitate programs in specialty areas based upon skills, interest, and expertise.

Associate Director, Dual Enrollment Services

This position reports to the Assistant Vice Chancellor, Student Access & Success and assists in development of policy and procedures, oversight of day-to-day operations, budget and scholarship coordination, and staff supervision for a pre-college program in support of preparing individuals to be successful in their higher education endeavors.

This position will develop, grow and manage UW-Green Bay’s dual enrollment programs including and not limited to College Credit in High School (CCIHS), Early College Credit Program (ECCP), and the Dual Enrollment Access Academy (Academy). The Associate Director collaborates across all UW-Green Bay precollege programs in order to share opportunities with school district and community partners to promote stable and productive relationships between the university and community. This highly collaborative position provides guidance and oversight for program planning, implementation and evaluation, monitoring of program budgets and expenditures, and ensuring programs are accessible for diverse audiences. This position serves as the supervisor for dual enrollment program staff.

This position reports to the Executive Director for University Wellness and Counseling and provides professional mental health counseling and consultation services for the campus community, incorporates a brief therapeutic model to address the emotional and behavioral needs of students, creates developmental programming to increase healthy lifestyle and coping behaviors across campus, and provides strategic direction and advocacy for university mental health policy and initiatives.

Admissions Counselor

This position reports to the Assistant Director for Recruitment and plans, develops, coordinates, manages, and executes the recruitment and admissions process in alignment with the institution’s strategic goals. New Student Transitions and Family Engagement Manager

This position reports to the Director of Student Engagement and will actively contribute to campus by facilitating on-going new student transition opportunities and family engagement with an emphasis on increasing student retention and supporting student success. This position will monitor onboarding data and work to ensure all students coming to all four campus locations are prepared and Phoenix Ready. The Manager will be responsible for gathering data from primary and secondary sources, identifying, analyzing and interpreting trends from the data, and work collaboratively with Housing and Academic Advising to ensure thorough onboarding of students. This position supervises the Student Ambassador team which supports Orientation, Campus tours, and Welcome programs. This position will be responsible for facilitating programming that supports the University’s goals regarding Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. This position will work, in collaboration with others, to create a safe and inclusive environment for all UW Green Bay students where all feel a sense of place and pride.

Oversees the daily management of programs, services, activities, facilities, policies and/or processes in order to support student success in various areas of student affairs. Works under broad, administrative direction with significant responsibility for assigned area(s) of responsibility. Facilities Technician III – Locksmith

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay is currently seeking applications for a Facilities Technician III with a focus on locksmithing. This position reports to the Building and Grounds Manager and inspects, maintains, and repairs specialized equipment and facilities to ensure property meets established standards and to prevent further damage. In this important role, the selected candidate will also assist with construction, design and operational maintenance as needed. A key responsibility will be repairing and maintaining all campus door locks, related hardware and maintains Facilities key inventory. The position will also be responsible for the maintenance and repair of general plumbing fixtures and components and other seasonal activities.

Charles Schwab Center for Financial Wellness Manager (50%, Temporary)

This position reports to the Accounting and Finance Department Chair and provides guidance for program planning, implementation, and evaluation, and/or supervises outreach staff. Monitors budget and appropriate funding for programming. Promotes stable and productive relationships between the university and community. Strives to expand and ensure access to programs, facilities, and educational services to diverse audiences. In addition, this position will be expected to carry out the duties of a lecturer in the Department of Accounting & Finance including teaching including six (6) student credit hours per year.

Administrative Services Professional (1 Year Appointment)

This position reports to the Director, Wisconsin Training Registries and provides administrative support for the Wisconsin Training Registries within the Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Training.

This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service for the Wisconsin Training Registries. As a liaison with internal and external people, this position interacts with a diverse audience of individuals and organizations by communicating procedural information, interpreting and implementing System regulations and policies, and resolving complex problems as they occur.  Administrative support includes registration, billing, payment, updating website and coordinating program logistics. The position calls for a highly organized, flexible, and self-directed individual with excellent customer service skills.

Student Services Specialist

This position reports to the Enrollment Services Manager and interacts with students as they matriculate by providing a variety of administrative support and coordination for student process including admissions, registration, financial aid, academic progress, graduation, international education, and course scheduling. Provides information to students, faculty, and staff regarding related processes and maintains and updates student records. Strives to create a welcoming, equitable, and inclusive work environment.

Assist clients (i.e., enrolled and prospective students, parents, faculty, staff and the general public) with routine transactions and inquiries, educate clients about university policies, procedures and resources, advise clients about alternative courses of action, and work collaboratively with other university offices and external agencies on behalf of clients to expedite problem resolution.  Specialists respond proactively to phone, e-mail and in-person inquiries and transactional requests by clarifying the request, diagnosing the problem, researching the resolution, acting on the request, and following up as appropriate. Specialists make recommendations to the Enrollment Services Manager, the Enrollment Services Directors and Dean on procedural and/or business practice improvements and help track customer service metrics to continuously improve student services and satisfaction.
