Outdoor Adventure Recreation Coordinator

This position reports to the Kress Events Center Director of Operations and is responsible for the design and administration of a comprehensive Outdoor Adventure Recreation (OAR) Program. This position will manage the daily operations within Outdoor Adventure Recreation that includes outdoor adventure trips, education and instructional clinics, equipment rentals, and indoor climbing wall. The Outdoor Adventure Recreation programming will focus teambuilding, leadership development, and experiential education as well as wide range of specialized activities that helps individuals grow deeper connections and engagement with the natural environment. The Outdoor Adventure Recreation Coordinator will hire, train, supervise and evaluate student program facilitators; manage program risk and safety; and assist with budget planning and marketing. This position will also be involved with and support departmental, division, and university strategic initiatives.

Campus Executive Officer (Two Vacancies – Manitowoc and Sheboygan)

The University of Wisconsin – Green Bay (UWGB) seeks applicants for two Campus Executive Officer positions, to be located at the Manitowoc and Sheboygan branch campuses. All qualified applicants are invited to apply. Current employees of the University of Wisconsin Extension and Colleges are especially encouraged to apply and preference will be given to those applicants. These appointments are contingent upon Higher Learning Commission (HLC) approval of the University of Wisconsin System restructure plan, anticipated to be received June 30, 2018.

The Campus Executive Officer (CEO) manages the day-to-day operations of the campus to ensure the campus runs smoothly and efficiently under the direction and guidance of the Provost & Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs; the Vice Chancellor for Business and Finance; and Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs. The primary function of the position is to serve as liaison between the Manitowoc or Sheboygan Branch Campuses and UW Green Bay central campus. The CEO ensures that campus stakeholders and members of the greater community have a single point of contact regarding the campus operations.

In conjunction with the Chancellor’s Cabinet, the CEO is responsible for establishing branch campus direction and development in alignment with the Mission and Vision of the consolidated institution. This position will develop an appropriate implementation plan to meet that vision, and the ability to lead their campus to realize that vision. They must facilitate communication to appropriate institutional leadership, including deans and directors at the central campus. To do so, the position must analyze the needs of students and community stakeholders to maximize utilization of facilities and services to meet the need of the campus and community.

Study Abroad Coordinator

This position reports to the Assistant Director for Study Abroad and is responsible for implementing an array of study abroad opportunities, including coordination of student recruitment, student advising, orientation delivery, travel coordination, procurement, program evaluation, and report preparation. The Study Abroad Coordinator serves as the primary liaison between the Office of International Education, overseas partners, UW-Green Bay faculty, and various support offices.

Student Billing Specialist (75% Appointment)

This position reports to the Bursar and provides direct customer support and counseling in matters pertaining to student financial accounts. Other primary responsibilities include accurate completion of the student refund process, assisting the Student Billing Coordinator in ensuring the accuracy of student financial information in the Student Information System (SIS). This person will assist the Student Billing Coordinator in the maintenance of accurate record keeping on non-active student “in-house” accounts and with monthly paper invoicing on non-active student accounts. This position will work with the Student Billing Coordinator to assist in approving accounts for collection. These duties include the documentation of bankruptcies, initiating collection action, including the direct entry of accounts to collection agencies websites, maintaining accurate record keeping, including recording payments, new accounts, closed/returned accounts, and verifying that collection agency service indicator totals match SIS.

Facilities Repair Worker – Advanced

This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for the performance of general facilities maintenance and minor remodeling work to campus buildings and equipment. In addition, this position will perform preventative maintenance to building structures, including cosmetic and/or decorative improvements. This position will provide professional advice with materials and time required to complete various tasks, read blueprints, and follow MSDS recommendations and requirements. This position will also perform mechanical and carpentry repair work, painting, woodworking, train student and/or LTE staff, direct/coordinate student and/or LTE work, and maintain inventory and supplies.

Custodian Float (Open to UW System Employees Only)

The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay has a current vacancy for a full-time, first-shift Custodian Float. This position works under the general supervision of the Custodial Services Supervisor and is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance and cleanliness of their designated areas. Work performed in this position includes manual cleaning and maintenance of UW-Green Bay buildings. General areas of responsibility include cleaning offices, restrooms, and other building areas; maintaining all floor surfaces, including mopping, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, and refinishing; cleaning windows (inside and outside); cleaning furniture; assisting with furniture, piano, and equipment moves; stocking restrooms and custodial work areas with necessary supplies and products; waste and recycling removal; and snow removal and salting of building entrances. This position will be required to drive a State vehicle and travel between work locations as needed.
