On Monday, February 20, 2023, Jonathan Schroeder started as a Business Analyst II with the IT Enterprise Apps & Int department.

Jonathan’s preferred pronouns are he/him and his preferred name is Jon, pronounced the same as John. His educational background includes a Bachelor’s for Computer Science from UW – La Crosse. Prior to working at UW-Green Bay, he worked at Associated Bank for four years. His hometown is New London, WI and he enjoys learning Guitar and Ham Radio.

Welcome Nicole Virant!

On Monday, February 13, 2023, Nicole Virant started as a Program Specialist – Business & Government with the Continuing Education & Community Engagement department.

Nicole’s preferred pronouns are she/her/hers and she pronounces her last name as “Veer-ant.” Her educational background includes a BBA from UW-Green Bay in Marketing with a Minor in Sociology and then an MBA from Globe University.

Prior to working at UW-Green Bay, she worked with Greater Green Bay Habitat for Humanity for 1.5 years as an Events & Marketing Specialist, at NWTC for 7 years as an Adjunct Instructor and Corporate Trainer, and at Globe University for 5 years as a Business Program Chair/Community Manager.

She is a volunteer with McAuliffe Elementary School, with her children as a basketball coach, reading mentor, and Girl Scout Troup Leader. She also has volunteered in the past with the Brown County Library on their board for the Friends of the Brown County Library and teaching computer literacy classes.

She also would like to share that her hometown is Menasha, WI and she enjoys baking, reading, and spending time with her daughters and dog.

Welcome Elizabeth Bloedow!

On Monday, January 23, 2023, Elizabeth Bloedow started as a Financial Aid Officer with the Financial Aid department.

Elizabeth’s preferred pronouns are she, her, hers and her last name is pronounced like playdough, but with a B.

Her educational background includes an associates degree from UW-Fox Valley (Fall 2013 – Spring 2015) and transferring to UWGB to finish her bachelor’s in psychology (Fall 2015 – Spring 2017). She completed her Master’s in Educational Leadership and Policy with a certificate in Post-Secondary, Technical, and Adult Education from UW-Oshkosh in December 2020.

She would like to share that she is technically from Oostburg, WI, but moved to Little Chute, WI when she was in 4th grade, so she consider Little Chute more her hometown. for her family, she has Blanche (Mom), Steve (Dad), Kyle (older brother), Laura (sister-in-law), and Corbin (nephew).

Elizabeth is actively involved with her church, and volunteer as an adult leader with their Sophomore – Senior aged youth. She has previously gone on Mission Trips to Boston, West Virginia, Texas, and Tennessee.

She enjoys spending time with her family and friends and frequently travels to Madison to visit her parents. Elizabeth also enjoys spending time at home with her cat Jordy, and watching football or basketball. When those sports aren’t in season, she spend time watching different shows. A couple of her favorites include Grey’s Anatomy or Friends. She also enjoys traveling and getting to see and experience new places.

Prior to starting here, she worked at the UW-Oshkosh Fox Cities campus as an Information Specialist from February 2020 – December 2021 and at UW-Oshkosh in the Financial Aid Office from January 2022 – January 2023.

Welcome Adam Angrimson!

On Monday, January 23, 2023, Adam Angrimson started as an Administrative Assistant III, WI Training Registries with the Continuing Education & Community Engagement department.

His preferred pronouns are he/him/his and his last named is pronounced as “Angh-grim-son.”

Prior to coming to UW-Green Bay, he worked as a Medical Insurance and Customer Service Specialist for 20+ years.

He would like to share that his hometown is Minneapolis, Minnesota and that he is a movie aficionado, who loves Marvel, DC, Disney, and the filmography of Bette Davis and Joan Crawford.

He lives on campus with his partner, who is an Assistant Director of Residential Education, Nick, and their dog, Skip.
