Welcome Jacquelynn Connell!

On Thursday, April 06, 2023, Jacquelynn Connell started as a First Year Experience Manager with the Student Access & Success department.

Jacquelynn’s preferred pronouns are she/her/hers and her preferred name is Jackie. She graduated from UW-Green Bay in 2009 with a Communication Double Major in Public Relations & Electronic Media. She then earned a Master’s degree in Student Affairs Administration in Higher Education from UW La Crosse in 2011. Prior to starting here at UW-Green Bay, she previously worked at Mitchell College in New London, CT as the Assistant Director for Student Activities and Orientation for about 3 and a half years, at at UW-Oshkosh as a Residence Hall Director for 4 years, and UW-Oshkosh Fox Cities as the New Student Event Manager for 4 years.

She would like to share that her hometown is Niagara, WI Jackie will be married for 5 years this coming September to her partner, Drew whom she met while living out in Connecticut and convinced to move back to the great state of Wisconsin with her. They share their home with two cats, Zoe & Willow, and a dog, Archer. They are beyond excited to be welcoming their first child to their family, a baby girl, later this month!

Welcome Lorrigan Puls!

On Monday, April 03, 2023, Lorrigan Puls started as a Student Services Specialist with the Green Bay One Stop Shop department.

Lorrigan’s preferred pronouns are she/her/hers and graduated from UW-Green Bay in 2021 with a degree in Communications and an emphasis in Public Relations and Health Communication. Prior to starting here, she worked one year at both Schneider and Habitat for Humanity working in recruiting and volunteer coordination respectively.

She would like to share that her hometown is Sheboygan, WI with her mother, who is a UW-Green Bay graduate, and her brother. She is relocating to Green Bay with my partner, who also graduated from UW-Green Bay, and their Schnauzer puppy, Sugar. She looks forward to getting involved with local organizations outside of UW-GB. She also cannot wait to visit the Bay Beach Wildlife Sanctuary and Habitat ReStore.

Lorrigan is also a nature-enthusiast who loves to go on hikes with her puppy and also enjoys cooking! She takes every chance she gets to explore different cultures through food.

Welcome Jeffrey Deneys!

On Monday, April 03, 2023, Jeffrey Deneys started as a Maintenance Mechanic with the Facilities Management department.

His preferred name is JD and he would like to share that his hometown is Green Bay, WI. After graduating high school, JD worked at Prevea Health for 5 years. He is also involved in the community, doing sound and video work for Highland Crest Baptist Church and working with Habitat for Humanity. He also likes jet skiing, snowmobiling, fishing, and hunting waterfowl, birds, and deer.

Welcome Steven Millard!

On Monday, March 27, 2023, Steven Millard started as Associate Athletic Director for Finance and Human Resources with the Athletics department.

Prior to coming here to UW-Green Bay, he graduated in 2005 from Central Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. He previously worked as a Senior Accountant & Accounting Manager at Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort in Mt. Pleasant, MI November 2011-September 2021 and then as Controller at Delaware North Sportservice at Lambeau Field from October 2021-March 2023.

He would like to share that his hometown is Kenosha, WI and that he likes going to sporting events and collecting baseball cards. He has a Fiancée, Brandi, who is a Head Start teacher for UW-Oshkosh, a Daughter, Mackenzie, who attends UW-Madison, and 14 year old son named Aiden. He also would like to share “I’m excited to begin my journey at UWGB and Go Phoenix!”
