Campus Administrative Assistant & Annual Giving Coordinator (Marinette Campus)

This position reports to the Campus Administrative Officer and provides general administrative support, while exercising discretion, to the administrator of a department or division of the institution or to the administrator of multiple institution programs, services, activities, and assists in assuring annual donor points of contact are fulfilled. Coordinates annual giving direct mail/digital appeals during the year and assists in the coordination of donor relations as it pertains to scholarship and other related gifts.

Custodian (2nd Shift, Multiple Vacancies)

This position reports to the Custodial Services Supervisor and maintains the overall appearance and cleanliness of the designated work area.  Work performed in this position includes manual cleaning and maintenance of UWGB buildings.  General areas of responsibility include: cleaning offices, restrooms, and other building areas; maintaining all floor surfaces including mopping, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, and refinishing; cleaning windows (inside and outside); cleaning furniture; assisting with furniture, piano and equipment moves as required; stocking restrooms and custodial work areas with necessary supplies and products; waste and recycling removal; snow removal and salting of building entrances. This position will be required to drive a State vehicle and travel between work locations as needed.

Assistant Coach – Women’s Volleyball

This position reports to the Head Women’s Volleyball Coach and assists the head coach with all aspects of running a successful Division I Volleyball program. Student Services Specialist

This position reports to the Enrollment Services Manager and interacts with students as they matriculate by providing a variety of administrative support and coordination for student process including admissions, registration, financial aid, academic progress, graduation, international education, and course scheduling. Provides information to students, faculty, and staff regarding related processes and maintains and updates student records. Strives to create a welcoming, equitable, and inclusive work environment.

Assist clients (i.e., enrolled and prospective students, parents, faculty, staff and the general public) with routine transactions and inquiries, educate clients about university policies, procedures and resources, advise clients about alternative courses of action, and work collaboratively with other university offices and external agencies on behalf of clients to expedite problem resolution.  Specialists respond proactively to phone, e-mail and in-person inquiries and transactional requests by clarifying the request, diagnosing the problem, researching the resolution, acting on the request, and following up as appropriate.  Specialists make recommendations to the Enrollment Services Manager, the Enrollment Services Directors and Dean on procedural and/or business practice improvements and help track customer service metrics to continuously improve student services and satisfaction.

Associate Athletic Director for Finance & Human Resources

This position reports to the Controller with dotted line to the Athletic Director and guides financial and/or accounting staff performing work in multiple finance functional areas and participates in day-to-day financial operations to ensure accuracy of financial transactions and reports, and/or supervises staff. This position also recommends and implements fiscal policies and advises on development of processes in support of efficient and compliant reporting. Prepares NCAA/EADA reports and leads the annual audit.

Another aspect of this role includes serving as department liaison with Human Resources.  This entails assisting with all activity regarding employment status of staff, posting thru hire of open positions and monitors and processes additional payments of bonuses for Athletic Staff.

Program Specialist, Community Theater & Arts (Marinette)

This position reports to the Director, Continuing Professional Education and is responsible for the programming for the Theater on the Bay, Children’s Theater, and other community theater and arts programs. Works with local and regional arts groups. Oversees all processes for theater productions which includes production management, contracting of paid theater staff and crew, oversees ticket sales, and rights to productions; partners with the Weidner Center on programming; works with marketing to manage promotions of arts programming, manages production and program area budgets, and other tasks to insure successful productions.  Maintains local partnerships and oversees all other arts programming including youth camps, various classes and events, ensures adherence to policy, and assists with program administration to promote stable and productive relationships between the university and local community. Strives to expand and ensure access to programs, facilities, and educational services to diverse audiences.  Works on other programming for the division based on needs and assignment by supervisor

Dean, College of Arts, Humanities, & Social Sciences

This position reports to the Provost & Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and is responsible for budget, personnel, curriculum, strategic planning and decisions, and for working with diverse constituencies to promote the mission of our open-access, four-campus University.  The Dean will provide academic and administrative leadership and oversight of the programs in the College, including the recently named Resch Institute of Music.  The Dean of the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences will work in a collaborative fashion with the Deans of the College of Health, Education, and Social Welfare; the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business; and the College of Science, Engineering, and Technology on matters of mutual concerns.  The Dean reports to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and serves on the Provost’s Administrative Council.

Supervisory Leadership Certificate Program – Spring 2023

The Division of Continuing Education and Community Engagement is pleased to offer the Supervisory Leadership Certificate Program to any UW-Green Bay supervisor who is seeking professional development. The next cohort for this program begins on February 9, 2023!

Build your leadership skills, fulfill your potential and enhance the capabilities of your department with a program designed to advance careers. Supervisors can complete this program with only $299 in expenses for materials and other items charged to their departmental funds. Supervisors are encouraged to discuss the cost with Division Heads/Area Leaders if funding is a barrier to participation. There is no limit to the amount of supervisors who are able to enroll.

To earn the UW-Green Bay Supervisory Leadership Certificate participants must complete eight courses:

Feb 9 – Core Course: Understanding Your Strengths and the Strengths of Others (8:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.)

March 10 – Topic Course: Developing an Adaptive Leadership Mindset

March 23 – Topic Course: Helping Your Team Achieve Organizational Management 

April 13 – Topic Course: The Roadmap to High Performing Teams 

May 11 – Conflict Resolution Rather than Toxic Drama

May 25 – Capstone Course:  Developing an Action Plan

Classes will be held on Zoom from 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM unless otherwise noted.
