Deadline Extended – Department Assistant – Behavioral Health Training Partnership

It’s true, that the primary goal of the University of Wisconsin, Green Bay, is to teach all who are willing to learn. But we are also committed to moving forward not just as a university, but also as a region. And as department assistant in the Behavioral Health Training Partnership (BHTP), you’ll be accomplishing both.

We’re seeking that special someone who possesses both a keen eye for detail and a generous heart for service. That’s because the mission of the BHTP extends far beyond the classroom. Our collaborative efforts support 67 counties and 2 tribal nations in Wisconsin—providing training and supporting best practices in crisis intervention and other behavioral health services. And you would play a vital role in our collective success.

Attention to detail is a must! You’ll assist in establishing and maintaining the compliance of department records to ensure departmental goals. Your clerical tasks can include tracking department funds and purchasing, plus clerical, student support, and facility coordination.

In addition, you’ll be connecting with the communities we serve—managing meeting preparation and event planning for professional development that’s provided to behavioral health professionals through the partnership.

Additional responsibilities include office management and administrative support for BHTP personnel, supervision of student employees, budget reconciliation, and facilitating periodic training sessions for BHTP members. Training-specific responsibilities include coordination of online course enrollment, marketing of department training, providing customer service, supporting registration, billing, and payment services via department software.
