This position reports to the Assistant Director of Housing Administration and assists in carrying out the mission and philosophy of Housing and Residential Education. Housing and Residential Education provides housing for approximately 2,000 students during the academic year and 2,000 guests during the summer months and employs approximately 18 full-time staff and 125 student employees. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Supporting students in planning and preparing for living in university-managed housing. Directs activities related to contracting and leasing of housing units and making assignments. Works closely with other housing and campus staff, and seeks resolution for student concerns about university-managed housing assignments while working to ensure fair and consistent practices.
