Volunteer Opportunity: Make a Difference Day

UWGB Make a Difference Day

Make a Difference Day is an annual national day on the fourth Saturday of October. UW-Green Bay will be giving back to the Green Bay community on October 27 this year. They are still looking for volunteers to participate in the variety of opportunities on-campus and off-campus. All transportation will be provided for any off-campus volunteering on October 27. Some on-campus options for employees this year are: The Einstein Project – Making Thank You Cards, Campus Clean Up, Landscaping Residence Life, or Making Holiday Cards for Veterans in TRiO. If you would like to register, you can go to the Make A Difference Day page on the UW-Green Bay website. www.uwgb.edu/make-a-difference-day/

Can’t volunteer with the campus as a whole? UW-Green Bay is sponsoring the Volunteer Center of Brown County in their participation in the national Make A Difference Day on October 28. Volunteers will be responsible for their transportation on October 28, but will still be recognized as a part of the UW-Green Bay volunteers. You can go to www.volunteergb.org/madd for more information on how to get involved!
