Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Campus Climate

The University of Wisconsin – Green Bay (UWGB) seeks a dynamic, innovative and experienced student affairs professional to become Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs and Campus Climate. The Vice Chancellor is a member of the senior leadership team reporting to the Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs and sits on the Chancellor’s Cabinet.

The Vice Chancellor will join a vibrant and entrepreneurial university serving one of three urban areas in Wisconsin. Green Bay is an internationally known city with large and growing manufacturing, healthcare and service economic sectors and the Green Bay Packers. The University enjoys strong community support and is known for its unique interdisciplinary approach.

The major opportunities for the Vice Chancellor are to (1) shape and deploy a contemporary student life vision that promotes student welfare, service and creative thinking; (2) create a more vibrant campus life that integrates the great advantages of Green Bay and the local area; (3) develop and deploy an institution-wide model program in inclusivity, understanding and civility.

The University faculty and staff are extremely committed to their students, the University and the community. The University supports a very successful NCAA Division I athletic program. The Vice Chancellor will be expected to be highly collegial and self-motivated.
