Welcome Megan Noltner and Maria Vander Heiden

The Office of Human Resources and Workforce Diversity would like to welcome Megan Noltner and Maria Vander Heiden. You may remember Megan from her temporary role back in 2017. She came back to UW-Green Bay on June 27, 2018 as a Human Resources Specialist and her responsibilities will include employee relations, policy and compliance, and serving as Title IX Co-Coordinator.

We would also like to welcome Maria Vander Heiden who started on May 29, 2018 as a Human Resources Assistant. Maria’s responsibilities will include coordinating and entering personnel transaction data in the Human Resources System (HRS), processing student paperwork, and handling various recruitment activities for the College of Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences, the Library, Enrollment Services, Student Affairs, Continuing Education and Community Engagement. She will also coordinate exit processing, records management, volunteer coordination, and serve as a Title IX Investigator.

Welcome Megan Noltner

On June 27, 2018, the Human Resources department welcomed back Megan Noltner as a Human Resources Specialist. Megan previously worked for Marcus Corporation for 5 and 1/2 years. She has previously always been involved in volunteer work and part of a local SHRM chapter. She is looking to get more involved in the coming months. In her free time, Megan enjoys hanging out with her family and friends, running, and trying new restaurants/food. Megan holds a Bachelors of Science in Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Management from UW-Stout and a SHRM-CP designation. Megan lives in Green Bay with her husband and 3 little boys all under the age of 3! She also has a lot of cute nieces and nephews. Megan is excited to be back at UW-Green Bay!

Welcome Maria Vander Heiden!

On May 29, 2018, Human Resources welcomed Maria Vander Heiden as the newest member of their team.  She will start her new adventure as a Human Resources Assistant.

Prior to starting at UWGB, Maria worked for Team Industries as a Human Resources Assistant and also held a variety of seasonal positions–Apple Valley Orchard, Field of Scenes, and Green Handle Greenhouse.  She has an Associates Degree in Human Resource Management from Fox Valley Technical College and is currently pursuing her Bachelor’s Degree in the same area.

Maria was the president of the Wrightstown FFA and on the Brown County Fairest of the Fair committee.  She enjoys fishing, hunting, raising animals for the fair, going to concerts, and anything outdoors.

Maria’s mom and dad are Gary and Wendy Vander Heiden, and she has three sisters (Brooke, Olivia, and Sarah) and a brother-in-law (Cole Van Dreel).  She is from Wrightstown, Wisconsin, and says she is “very excited for the opportunity to work for the University of Green Bay and cannot wait to meet everyone!”

Welcome Korey Schroeder!

Korey Schroeder started as the new Assistant Women’s Volleyball Coach on May 25, 2018.  Prior to coming to UWGB, he worked for UW-Platteville.

Korey has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering from UW-Platteville.  He enjoys volleyball, adventuring, hiking, and road trips.  Korey is from Kaukauna, Wisconsin.

Welcome Tracy Tilleman!

Tracy Tilleman started as a Student Billing Specialist in the Bursar’s office on May 22, 2018.  She was a student employee in both the Financial Aid and Bursar offices.  Prior to that, she worked for Ameriprise Auto and Home Insurance and APAC Customer Service.

Tracy graduated from UWGB with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with a finance emphasis.  She enjoys reading and solving puzzles in her free time.

Tracy is from the Green Bay area.

Welcome Christina Thill!

Christina Thill started as a Financial Aid Advisor May 7, 2018.  She worked for the UW-Eau Claire Foundation for 9 years.

Christina has a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology.  She enjoys reading, gardening, biking, and spending time with family, which includes her husband and a 6-month-old son.

Christina is from Marinette, Wisconsin.
