Gifts Officer

The Advancement team had its most successful year ever in 2022, securing over $13 million in gift commitments.

The Gifts Officer identifies and cultivates relationships with donor prospects, develops and implements fundraising plans, and works collaboratively with college Deans to further the mission of the University. In coordination with the Deans, you’ll develop and actively manage a portfolio of assigned donors and prospects for major gifts ($25,000+) and planned gifts (bequest commitments, charitable trusts, etc.); prepare a fundraising moves management strategy for each assigned donor and prospect; and meet in-person with these alumni, friends, businesses, and foundations, and communicate with them regularly throughout the year.

Area Coordinator – Residential Education

This position reports to the Associate Director and oversees programming and support for residents living in campus housing, responds to emergency situations, and helps to create an inclusive and safe living community. Supports mission and vision of Housing department to ensure student success and satisfaction.

The Area Coordinator position assists in carrying out the mission and philosophy of Housing and Residential Education. Housing and Residential Education provides housing for 2,000 students. The Area Coordinator is responsible for overseeing a residential area of approximately 700-800 residents; and with the assistance of Student Hall Managers (HMs) and Resident Mentors (RMs), strives to develop and maintain a safe, enjoyable, supportive and inclusive living environment for residents where they can achieve academic success and personal growth and development. The Area Coordinator will have department wide responsibility for one of the following specialty areas: Residential Curriculum/Academic Initiatives, Staff Recruitment/Staff Development, or Resident Engagement/Leadership Development. The Area Coordinator is a member of the Residential Education team and holds administrative responsibilities, participates in committees and meetings, and serves students in a multitude of ways. The Area Coordinator will also have assigned summer responsibilities including: summer student housing, summer camps/conferences, guest housing, summer staff supervision, and other duties related to summer operations and fall opening preparations. The Area Coordinator will assume additional responsibilities assigned by and makes recommendations to the Associate Director.

Assistant Professor – Education

The Professional Program in Education at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay seeks applicants for a tenure-track position as an Assistant Professor in Education. Candidates with a background in Social Studies education or a related field will be given preference.

Program Specialist (Temporary)

This position reports to Business and Government Outreach Program Manager and will focus on organizing, developing and the delivery of the Wisconsin Elder Justice Coalition Project. Assists with department policy development and organizing resources to promote stable and productive relationships between the university and Wisconsin community resources and stakeholders. Strives to expand access to programs, facilities, and educational services related to the goals and objectives of the Wisconsin Elder Justice Coalition grant.

Significant importance on strong customer service and responsiveness. Will assess current task force membership and work with a diverse stakeholder group to increase participation in the coalition. Will collaborate with the Program Manager to implement coalition goals as defined in the grant proposal. Will coordinate the system to track and monitor grant efforts to meet objectives and will create quarterly reports of grant activities.

Will maintain grant budget in conjunction with the Office of Grants and Research and will create invoices for grant expenses. Will develop and create the Wisconsin FAST (Finance Abuse Specialist Teams) Team process and education and implement a pilot program. This will include recruiting, developing and supporting a FAST Team in each of the five APS (Adult Protective Services) regions. Develop an Elder Death Review Team (EDRT). The individual will develop and conduct a needs assessment of financial institutions, healthcare entities, law enforcement, and prosecutors to determine their educational needs related to elder justice. They will coordinate the creation of educational materials and training based on the needs assessment.

This position will require some travel throughout the state of Wisconsin for in person meetings and networking. This is a full-time, temporary position with an expected end date of September 30, 2025.

University Police Administrative Assistant II

This position works in the Student Accessibility Services (SAS) Office to help reduce and/or remove educational barriers for student with disabilities. SAS is responsible for following federal, state and UWS polices for ensuring access. This individual will utilize the interactive process to determine reasonable accommodations and assist with the implementation of the necessary accommodations by working with our faculty and instructional staff. This position reports to the Director of Student Accessibility Services and is part of the Division of University Inclusivity and Community Engagement.

This position reports to the Building and Grounds Manager and inspects, maintains, and repairs specialized equipment and facilities to ensure property meets established standards and to prevent further damage. Assists with construction, design and operational maintenance as needed. Repairs and maintains all campus door locks, related hardware and maintains Facilities key inventory. The position will also be responsible for the maintenance and repair of general plumbing fixtures and components and other seasonal activities.
