captureAcademic Advising welcomed Michelle Behm on August 31, 2015, as the Admissions and Academic Advisor for the Adult Degree Program!

Michelle was previously employed as the Volunteer Services Coordinator at Texas Woman’s University for three years. She enjoys reading, camping, going to concerts, and spending time with her fiancé and family, especially her nephews and niece.
Michelle has a BS in Psychology and Human Development from UWGB and an MS in Student Personnel Administration from Concordia University, Wisconsin.  Her hometown is Birnamwood, Wisconsin.

Rob previously worked for the Green Bay Public School’s Title VII Indian Education Program for four years.  He earned his Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and Humanistic Studies from UWGB and earned his Master’s Degree in Applied Teaching and Learning from UWGB as well.  Rob volunteers with Big Brothers Big Sisters and Habitat for Humanity.  He is a native of Green Bay.

Terry previously worked for Globe University as a Day Porter for nearly 6 years.  Prior to that, he served as an Accountant for American Automobile Association and Wisconsin Power & Light, worked in the hospitality industry, and ran his own health and nutrition business from home for several years.  He has an Associate Degree in Accounting from Madison Area Technical College.  Terry is from the Madison, Wisconsin area.

Welcome Joan Schaller!

img_3174Back on October 12, 2015, Joan Schaller began as a University Services Associate for the Dean of Students!

Joan graduated from high school in Sheboygan Falls, Wisconsin, many, many years ago, but for the last 20 years she has lived in Chilton,Wisconsin, and had been employed the last 10 years with Chilton Public schools as an Administrative Assistant to the Principal.  Joan has 3 adult children and enjoys visiting them whenever she can.

She really enjoys watching Packer football and is a big Badgers fan too. She loves to golf with her husband Scott  and to spend time doing anything outdoors when there isn’t snow!

Welcome Donna Mleziva!

On February 16, 2016, Donna Mleziva was welcomed by Outreach and Extension as the new Design, Marketing, and Media Specialist!

Donna previously worked for The Compass as a graphic design and sales specialist for one year. Prior to that, she worked as a graphic designer for UW-Oshkosh for nearly seven years. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and the Arts from UW-Green Bay in 2006.

Donna plays flute in the Luxemburg-Casco Community Band and is from Luxemburg, Wisconsin.

Welcome Heather Clarke!

Business Administration recently welcomed Heather Clarke August 22, 2016, as an Assistant Professor in Human Resource Management!

Heather completed a Bachelor of Arts (Memorial University of Newfoundland), a Bachelor of Law (University of New Brunswick), and a Master of Business Administration (University of New Brunswick) before entering the practice of law.  After several years as a practicing lawyer, she pursued her PhD in Management (Memorial University).  For the past two and a half years, Heather has taught courses in human resource management and business law at Memorial University, while completing her PhD.  She is from St. John’s, Newfoundland, Canada.

Welcome Jessica Delzer!

Jessica previously worked for the Shawano County Department of Human Services for 12 years, where she was the Behavioral Health Division Manager and provided family court mediation for Shawano County.  She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees from UW-Milwaukee and is a Licensed Professional Counselor.  Jessica serves on the Board for the Shawano-Menominee area group ROADS (Reaching Out About Depression and Suicide).  She grew up on a dairy farm in Little Suamico, Wisconsin, and currently lives with her husband and three young children in Shawano, Wisconsin.

Welcome Hannah Fameree!

On January 11, 2016, Hannah Fameree was welcomed by the Student Service Center as the new GBoss Front Desk Specialist!

Hannah previously worked at Ashford University in Denver, Colorado, and is new to the Green Bay area. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree from Edgewood College in Madison, Wisconsin, and is very happy to be back in the Midwest. Hannah loves exploring nature, traveling, and going to Crossfit in her free time. She is originally from Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Welcome Jessica Hopp!

On August 8, 2016, University Advancement welcomed Jessica Hopp as the Manager of Events and Stewardship!

Jessica earned her Bachelor’s Degree from UW-Green Bay and is currently pursuing her Master’s. She is the Chair for the Leadership Green Bay curriculum committee and volunteers with Downtown Green Bay.

Jessica was raised in Southern Wisconsin; however, she has called Green Bay home since 2005.  She currently lives in Hobart with her husband and 6-year-old beagle.

Welcome Saeid Amiri!

amirisaeid2Natural and Applied Sciences welcomed Saeid Amiri on August 22, 2016, as an Assistant Professor of Statistics!

Saeid earned his Ph.D. in Statistics at Uppsala University, Sweden.  Since then he has been working on several projects that have led to publications. His ongoing research includes high dimensional data, statistical machine learning, and application of statistics in genetics.  He is very keen on the applied side of research and collaborating with other scientists.

Prior to joining UWGB, he was a visiting Assistant Professor at the University of Iowa.
