Academic Department Associate (9-month, 75%) – Two Vacancies

The University of Wisconsin – Green Bay seeks applicants for two Academic Department Associate vacancies.  One position will support the department of Humanistic Studies, and the other position will support the departments of Human Development and Information and Computing Science.  Both positions are part-time university staff appointments working approximately 30 hours per week during the academic year (August-May). Appointments are approximately 9-months, tied to the academic year with no expectation of employment during the summer months and winter break. carol_kuehneCarol started in the Admissions Office as a University Services Associate 2 on June 15, 2015. She was previously employed at UW-Fox Valley as a Program Assistant for over eight years.  She also worked in the airline industry for several years at both Air Wisconsin and Midwest Express Airlines.  Carol lives in Seymour, WI with her husband, Mitch, and two children, Tracey and Mike.  She enjoys camping, biking, skiing, and traveling with her family, and is a fan of Wisconsin sports! Director of Admissions (Open to UW System Employees Only)

This position reports to the Dean of Enrollment Services, and is responsible for the overall leadership of the Admissions Office, including marketing and recruitment, application processing and admissions decisions, international student recruitment and admission, professional and support staff supervision, budget management and development, admissions policy development and implementation, and both long-term and short-term planning for the purpose of meeting University enrollment goals.

Custodian (50%)

The University of Wisconsin – Green Bay has a current vacancy for a 50% Custodian. The Custodian position at the Weidner Center for the Performing Arts (WCPA) works under the general supervision of the Custodial Services Program Supervisor, and is responsible for maintaining the overall appearance of the WCPA. This position includes a rotating schedule, depending upon the needs of the WCPA, including a combination of 1st shift (6:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (3:30 p.m. – 11:30 p.m.), weekdays and/or weekends.

Auto and Truck Mechanic (Temporary)

Facilities Management has a current vacancy for a temporary Auto and Truck Mechanic.  This position will work approximately 18 to 24 hours per week, between the hours of 7:00 – 3:00, Monday through Friday. Days worked can be flexible with approval of the Grounds Supervisor.   The Auto and Truck Mechanic position performs mechanical repairs and maintenance on all grounds equipment and vehicles.
