Director of CATL

This position reports in equal parts to the Division of Academic Affairs through the Associate Provost, and the Division of Information Technology through the Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief Information Officer and provides guidance for the Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning and its staff. The Center for the Advancement of Teaching and Learning supports the access-oriented teaching, learning, and technology mission of the university. The individual in the position will work collaboratively with numerous offices across the university to support faculty and instructors to advance teaching and learning. The Director provides leadership and support for pedagogy, course design, course delivery, and emerging learning technologies for all teaching modalities through coordination of instructor professional development efforts. This position provides faculty development to advance initiatives that promote student learning and success and facilitates the access mission with four campus locations. Services and programs provided may include, but are not limited to, the following: the advancement of teaching excellence for all teaching modalities, course development and transformation based on enhancing student engagement and learning outcomes, the effective use of teaching and learning technologies and quality course design.

Director, Technology Support Services

This position reports to the Associate Vice Chancellor for the Division of Information Technology and is a working director, responsible for ensuring a customer-focused approach to delivering information technology services for UWGB. This position provides overall tactical and operational leadership, directs the strategic design, acquisition, management, and implementation of enterprise endpoint technology tools through oversight of the IT Service Desk, endpoint deployment and support, and AV services; across four campus locations.  This role serves as the IT Service Management leader for the division, responsible for developing, deploying, and maintaining ITIL modeled processes across the division.

IT User Support & Telecommunications Service Coordinator

This position reports to the IT Manager and is responsible for providing operational and technological support for classroom technology, videoconferencing, distance education and client service requests on the Marinette campus, both independently and in cooperation with Technology Support Services Team at the Green Bay location. The position is also responsible for coordinating, documenting and managing the customer service aspect of order taking and processing for telecommunications services across all campus locations.   A high level of detail and self-motivation is expected.

Study Abroad/Away Program Manager

This position reports to Director of International Education and oversees the daily delivery of study abroad, study away, National Student Exchange, and virtual internship programming including the delivery of publicity/outreach, advising services, admissions, enrollment management, orientation, visa support, data collection and reporting, and logistics coordination for faculty-led programming. The Program Manager must identify, clarify, and resolve issues of substantial significance using advanced technical and professional knowledge as well as independent judgement. Instructional Designer – 2 Vacancies (OPEN TO UW SYSTEM EMPLOYEES ONLY)

These positions report to the Director of CATL and as a part of the Center for the Advancement of Teaching & Learning (CATL) team, creates and delivers consultations, programs, and activities for faculty engagement and development. They use their expertise in pedagogy, adult learning theory, instructional design, and learning technology to advise and support both individuals and groups working on course and program-level curriculum development. They also design, develop, and consult on instructional materials, activities, curricula, and assessment resources in accordance with current pedagogical practices, cognitive/learning science, and design tools and methods. Unique elements of this position include the opportunity to blend traditional instructional design activities with faculty development and to potentially contribute specialized expertise in assessment and/or inclusive and equity-minded pedagogies.
