This position reports to the Assistant Director of Admissions Operations and functions within the context of the Admissions Office team.  This position is a primary reception point for admission applications and undertakes significant responsibility for application processing.  Significant independent decision-making is expected, and the ability to learn, interpret and apply complex admissions policies is essential.  Comfort with complex software systems and technical equipment is also essential.

IT Support Specialist (Three Vacancies, Green Bay Campus)

This position reports to the Manager of Client Services and provides quality IT service to a diverse group of users across the University. This position interacts daily with clients who have varying levels of technical expertise and provide them with excellent support and consulting services. The IT Support Specialist serves as a participating member of the IT Help Desk team, assists with the supervision and mentoring of student employees, documents procedures, and provides client training in various formats. This position also contributes to the Division of Information Technology projects, coordinates resources in support of the client’s diverse business goals, and responsible for specific support areas as assigned (i.e. workstation inventory, management of help desk ticket system, specialized hardware & software support).

Human Resources Records Management Assistant (Temporary, 3-Month)

This position reports to Human Resources Specialist and consolidates and reviews branch campus and faculty personnel files, scanning related forms into Image Now, general records management, provide assistance in general customer service to visitors and callers, and other miscellaneous projects as assigned. This position will work full time on a temporary basis for approximately three months.

Welcome Peggy Osthelder!

On May 28, 2019, the UW-Green Bay, Sheboygan Campus Solution Center welcomed Peggy Osthelder as an Information Specialist.

Peggy comes to the Sheboygan Campus from the Chippewa Valley Technical College (CVTC) where she worked for almost 7 years. She worked as the Energy Education Center Project Assistant then the Program Assistant – Agriculture, Energy & Transportation, and most recently as the Student Affairs Coordinator.

In addition of CVTC, Peggy has worked at the Eau Claire YMCA as a group exercise instructor for over 6 years, teaching strength-based classes and cycling. She also completed toga teacher training in Fall 2017 and has been teaching yoga at the Yoga Room for 2 years. She looks forward to finding a new place to teach yoga in the Sheboygan Community.

She really enjoys being outside and loves to run, hike, and bike. The past few summers, she also played kickball for a city recreation league. She also enjoys reading good books and seeing live music.

Peggy has a Bachelor’s of Arts-Mass Communication-Public Relations with a minor in Environmental Science from UW-Eau Claire. She is originally from Plymouth, Wisconsin and recently got engaged to her fiancé, Drew. They’ve been together for 12 years and are excited to get married in the next year and purchase their first home.

Peggy says “I’m excited to join the team at the UW-Green Bay, Sheboygan Campus! I completed my first year of college at this campus and am excited about helping other students begin their journey in higher education there also”.

Facilities Repair Worker (Sheboygan Campus) – Deadline Extended!

Under the general supervision of the Director for Facilities Planning & Management and daily direction by the Buildings and Grounds Supervisor, this position performs general maintenance and repair to facilities, grounds, and equipment for UW Green Bay, Sheboygan Campus.  This position will be the second responder to after-hours emergency calls regarding fire alarms, lockouts, plumbing emergencies, and power outages.

Head Women’s Basketball Coach (26.5%, 4-Month Appointment, Marinette Campus)

This position reports to the Athletic Director at the UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus. The Wisconsin Collegiate Conference (WCC) basketball season begins with the first allowed practice/team meeting on a date designated in the fall prior to 1 November.  The season ends after the WCC Tournament, normally held the second to last weekend in February, and most coach’s responsibilities ends approximately one week after that event.

Custodian (2nd Shift)

This position reports to the Custodian Services Supervisor and is responsible for the overall appearance and cleanliness of the designated work area.  Work performed in this position includes manual cleaning and maintenance of UWGB buildings.  General areas of responsibility include: cleaning offices, restrooms, and other building areas; maintaining all floor surfaces including mopping, buffing, vacuuming, shampooing, and refinishing; cleaning windows (inside and outside); cleaning furniture; assisting with furniture, piano and equipment moves as required; stocking restrooms and custodial work areas with necessary supplies and products; waste and recycling removal; snow removal and salting of building entrances.  This position will be required to drive a State vehicle and travel between work locations as needed.

Power Plant Operator Senior (Repost)

This position reports to the Power Plant Superintendent and is responsible for the operation and service of the heat/chill equipment, will perform preventative maintenance of air handling equipment, make minor repairs to equipment, and will apply chemicals to boilers, tower, and chilled water systems.
