Advisor (75% Appointment)

This position reports to the Chairperson of Nursing & Health Studies and is responsible to provide advising support for current and prospective students and participate in recruitment and community outreach events.  The advisor communicates with prospective students and engages students in decision making processes on academic matters such as course selection and degree requirements. Maintains appropriate confidentiality, updates student advising records, and contributes to the development and delivery of academic advising related events and programs.  Ensures that students receive accurate, timely, and holistic advising services to foster student success, retention, and program completion. Creates a welcoming, equitable, and inclusive environment. As a member of the NHS team, advisors assist with maintenance of the NHS websites, program database(s), and program newsletters.

Cabinet Liaison for Internal Affairs

This position reports to the Chancellor and serves as primary support for internal initiatives on campus. This position acts as a senior advisor to the Chancellor and serves as a liaison between the Chancellor’s office, Cabinet, and various internal constituencies. In addition to supporting the activities of the Chancellor and Cabinet, the Cabinet Liaison for Internal Affairs will attend meetings on campus with faculty and staff on behalf of the Chancellor and/or the Cabinet. Environmental Health Specialist

This position reports to the Assistant Vice Chancellor for Policy & Compliance and develops policy and serves as the primary campus resource for the following risk management activities: occupational health and safety, workers compensation, environmental safety, and hazardous waste management. Police Dispatcher (Two Vacancies)

This position reports to the Administrative Sergeant and serves as a first point of contact for University Police and University Parking, in a primarily non-emergency capacity. This position will operate computer and radio equipment and coordinate non-emergency police response in a 24-hour setting to ensure safety and security on all institutional properties. Assists in maintaining and updating departmental records and data entry. Receives and processes issues via phone or walk in that can range from true emergencies to non-emergency information requests and the dispatcher shall be capable of directly handling the issue, or efficiently summoning the needed and appropriate resources. This position will not receive 911 calls, but must be capable of transferring or dispatching officers appropriately should an emergency call come in and/or summoning officers for walk in incidents. Knowledge of the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay campus, the departments, and the services those departments offer will be helpful in this position.
