Executive Director of Housing & Residential Education

This position reports to the Vice Chancellor for University Inclusivity & Student Affairs and provides innovative, strategic and comprehensive assessment and leadership for the programs, services and budgets related to campus housing and the residential experience for over 2000 residents. The Executive Director oversees a broad portfolio of responsibilities including providing an overall vision, managing personnel functions, fiscal oversight, occupancy management and living-learning communities to an auxiliary unit which employs 12 full-time and over 125 part-time employees; manages 27 facilities and generates annual revenues in excess of $5 million.

Directs all administrative, educational, and supervisory tasks of all campus residence life functions. Demonstrates significant interaction and responsibility with all functional areas of the housing operation including staff supervision, facilities management, student conduct, stimulating the development of educational, social and personal growth programs, group advising and promoting the safety and welfare of all residents.
