This position reports to the Education Department Chair and networks, supports recruiting for, and assists in the day-to-day administration of one or more academic programs that involve multiple entities to establish and grow the quality and effectiveness of the assigned academic program(s).
This position is unique in its connections outside the University with area schools and districts. Responsibilities include the coordination of required filed placements and student teaching experiences that lead to licensure. In addition, the CEPC will work with area secondary institutions in the recruitment and transition of the teachers of tomorrow. Special focus will be on the successful recruitment of diverse learners and transitional paths for success.
