Program Specialist

This position reports to the Director of the Wisconsin Community-Based Care and Treatment Training Registry and delivers and assists with planning outreach program activities, strengthens partnerships, ensures adherence to policy, and assists with program administration to promote stable and productive relationships between the university and local community. Strives to expand and ensure access to programs, facilities, and educational services to diverse audiences. May assist with tracking and managing the outreach program budget.

This position will primarily be responsible for working in collaboration with the Wisconsin Community-Based Care and Treatment Training Registry Director to implement the initiatives of the Wisconsin Community-Based Care and Treatment Training Registry by assisting with operating goals, objectives, and protocols. This position is responsible for relating a high level of assisted living knowledge to constituents, associations, and organizations regarding the Wisconsin Department of Health Services rules, regulations, policies, and procedures. The individual will serve as a liaison with internal and external constituencies on matters assigned by the Wisconsin Community-Based Care and Treatment Training Registry Director. Audiences will include assisted living facilities, community based residential facility trainers and staff, among others.
