Arboretum Project Coordinator

This position reports to the Director of the Cofrin Center for Biodiversity (CCB) and is responsible for implementing management activities and policies at UW-Green Bay (UWGB) natural areas, including the Cofrin Memorial Arboretum, Point au Sable Nature Reserve, Toft Point Natural Area, Peninsula Sanctuary, Kingfisher Farm, and Lenfestey Courtyard. Working under the supervision of the Natural Areas Ecologist and CCB Director, and in collaboration with the Department of Facilities Management, this position will lead on-the-ground tasks, including invasive species control, trail maintenance, ecological restoration, watershed management, signage, and other activities consistent with management plans. This position will contribute to student, staff, and faculty field research projects and facilitate “outdoor classroom” exercises on UWGB natural areas. The Coordinator will also supervise student assistants and volunteers in carrying out land stewardship activities.
