IMPORTANT — FSA WageWorks to TASC Transition Complete– See 3/6/15 DEADLINE NOTE

Attention Employees Participating with Flexible Spending Accounts with WageWorks/TASC

The UW Service Center has confirmed with TASC that all 2014 carryover balances have been loaded to employees TASC accounts.   Thank you all for being patient through this transition.

A few things to note:

  • Participants should have received an email from TASC letting them know that their 2014 funds are now available. However:
  • If you have 2014 rollover funds but did not enroll for 2015, you will or should have received a Welcome Letter in the mail.   You will not be able to log online to your MyTASC account until you receive this letter which will have your personal TASC ID# on it.  You will need to contact TASC’s customer service (1-800-422-4661) to update your profile with your e-mail address.  Once this has been updated, you should be able to register for an account online at tasconline.com.  Employees who have 2015 funds with TASC should already have their TASC debit card which has their TASC ID# on it.
  • TASC will automatically move claims reimbursed during the grace period from 2015 balances to the 2014 account to use 2014 balances first.   NOTE:   If you would prefer to submit your own claims, your deadline to opt out of the reconciling process is Friday, 3/6/15!

See the recent post by the UW Service Center in the MYUW System portal in the “HR, Payroll & Benefits News” section for additional information.

Biometric Screening Event

The UW-Green Bay Benefits Office & Wellness Committee Presents:

What:                                       Well Wisconsin Biometric Screening Event

(See below for incentive details!)

When:                                      Monday, April 20th

8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Where:                                    University Union, Phoenix Rooms

Who can Participate:              Member employees, spouses/domestic partners, and adult children enrolled in State Group Health Insurance

How to Participate:                 Pre-Registration is required!

                                                Register online at https://register.wellness-inc.com/stateofwi

Deadline to Register: Thursday, April 16 (or until all appointments are filled)

In 2015, all state insurance plans are offering $150/member for completing the Well Wisconsin program.  There are two steps to completing the program.

  • Participate in a biometric screening

Get up-to-date testing results on your height, weight, and Body Mass Index (BMI), cholesterol level, glucose measurement, and blood pressure.  At the on-site screening you will be asked to provide proof of insurance (health insurance card).  You will then go through a series of staffed stations for the testing, which generally takes less than 20 minutes.  At the end of the screening you will be given your results.

  • Complete your Health Risk Survey online provided by your health plan

Use your biometric screening results to complete the survey.  Visit http://wellwisconsin.wi.gov and click on your insurance plan in the column to the left for a direct link to the online Health Survey.  This quick, easy survey will ask a range of questions including your daily stress level, family medical history, and typical meal plan.  The Health Survey is designed to help you gauge intangible well-being factors to pinpoint possible health risks.

Once the biometric screening and health survey are completed, the $150 incentive will be processed and issued by your health insurance provider.  Health plan issued rewards are considered a fringe benefit of employment and must be treated as taxable income by the primary subscriber’s employer.  Your health plan is required to report payment information for the subscriber and enrolled family member’s to the subscriber’s employer.  Individual health information will never be shared with the employer.

Even if you are unable to attend the on-site Biometric Screening on April 20th, you can complete the biometric screening portion with your physician (the necessary paper forms for physician’s completion are available under each individual health plan on the Well Wisconsin website).
