The Austin E. Cofrin School of Business welcomes Amulya Gurtu as an Assistant Professor of Supply Chain Management! Amulya earned his PhD in Industrial Engineering from Ryerson University in Canada. He also holds an MBA from the University of Western Ontario and a MS (Eng.) in Applied Mechanics from Bhopal University in India. Amula previously taught at Ryerson University and The Business School, Humber Institute of Technology & Advanceed Learning. Amulya started as an engineer in automotive R&D and for over 20 years has had leadership roles as a senior manager in automotive high-tech instrument manufacturing, mining, solvent extraction, and consulting organizations. Amulya will be moving with his wife and two daughters from Toronto, Canada, to settle in De Pere, WI. Welcome, Amulya!

Welcome Jeremy Bonomo!
Jeremy Bonomo was hired as the head coach of the Green Bay men’s soccer program on Dec. 28, 2014, Director of Athletics Mary Ellen Gillespie proudly announced. Bonomo, who most recently served as a top assistant at the University of Cincinnati from 2010-2014, brings five years of coaching experience as an assistant coach at the top Division I level and three years as a head coach at the Division II level. Bonomo graduated from New Hampshire College cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in 2002 and received his master’s degree in business administration with a certificate in Operations Management from in 2006. He holds a United States Soccer Federation `A’ License. He became the 10th head coach of the Green Bay men’s soccer program. Welcome, Jeremy!
Welcome Pooja Agarwal!
Pooja Agarwal has been hired as a Lecturer for the 2015-2016 academic year in Business Administration. Pooja previously taught as an adjunct instructor in the College of Business at UW Green Bay. She taught Business Statistics and Business Computer Applications. She earned her Bachelors in Science and Masters in Business Administration ( concentration: Human Resource Management) from India. She earned another Masters in Education Administration & Organization Development from Kent State University, Ohio. Pooja also serves on the Board of YWCA, an organization with the misson to empower women and eliminate racism. She ia also an active member of the organization’s community service committee. Pooja is a member of North East Wisconsin Indian Association, and INDUS Organization and participates in their activities and programs. She is originally from India, but resides in DePere, WI with her husband and two children. Welcome, Pooja!
Welcome Vallari Chandna!
UWGB is excited to welcome Vallari Chandna as an Assistant Professor in Business Administration! Vallari is moving here from University of North Texas (UNT) where she has been studying for her PhD. She earned her MBA in Organizational Behavior and Human Resources from UNT as well, graduating top of her class and receiving the Outstanding Graduate Student Award. She has a degree in law (BA.LL.B-Honors) from RSTMN University, India where she was ranked third in her Law School. She has presented her research at many regional, national and international conferences and is involved actively with these conferences through her service as reviewer, discussant, session chair and also recently served as a track chair. Vallari has taught multiple management subjects as a PhD student and also has experience working in the retail and media industries in India. She is happy to be moving to snowy Wisconsin with her husband, after having survived many Texas summers. Welcome, Vallari!
Welcome Nina Powell!
Nina started in the Social Work Program as a Lecturer and MSW Field Coordinator on August 1, 2015. She worked the past four years as an Experiential Group Therapist with children in a Day Treatment Program. She also worked the past six years as an online Human Services Instructor. Nina has experience working as a Social Worker in a variety of settings including residential, in-home therapy, emergency services, foster care, adoption, and in an adolescent group home. Nina has called Wisconsin home for eleven years after moving to the Green Bay area from Omaha, Nebraska. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree in Social Work at the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Nina received her Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay in 2005. She enjoys writing children’s books focused on therapeutic topics. Welcome, Nina!
Welcome Jen Schanen!
Jen started in the Social Work Program as a Lecturer and BSW Field Coordinator on August 1, 2015. Jen previously worked in Oneida for Wise Women Gathering Place as a Program Outreach & Evaluation Specialist for five and a half years. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work at UW-Green Bay. Jen is a certified yoga instructor and cat enthusiast. She is originally from Port Washington, Wisconsin.

Jake started in Athletics as the Director of Multimedia Services on September 1, 2014. Previous to Green Bay athletics, Jake worked in TV news in Wisconsin and Virginia. He earned his Bachelor’s degree in Radio/TV/Film from UW-Oshkosh. He is originally from Manawa, Wis. where he now lives with his wife and three young daughters. Welcome, Jake!

Ben started in Athletics as an Assistant Men’s Basketball Coach on May 4, 2015. Ben is an alumna of Edinboro University of Pennsylvania, where he graduated cum laude with a degree in Health and Physical Education – Teacher Certification. Kate started in Academic Technology Services as an Instructional Technologist on October 27, 2014. Kate is an alumna of UW-Green Bay where she earned her degree in English and Humanistic Studies in May 2013. Last year she worked part-time as a Digital Humanities Technology Consultant for the Humanistic Studies department. She is from Green Bay, Wisconsin. Welcome, Kate!
Welcome Carol Kuehne!
Carol started in the Admissions Office as a University Services Associate 2 on June 15, 2015. She was previously employed at UW-Fox Valley as a Program Assistant for over eight years. She also worked in the airline industry for several years at both Air Wisconsin and Midwest Express Airlines. Carol lives in Seymour, WI with her husband, Mitch, and two children, Tracey and Mike. She enjoys camping, biking, skiing, and traveling with her family, and is a fan of Wisconsin sports! Welcome Carol!
