Welcome Dana Stueber!

IMG_2823The Counseling & Health Center welcomed Dana Stueber as Health Educator/Sexual Violence Prevention on December 1, 2015!  Dana is from the Green Bay area, and holds a degree in nursing from the Bellin College of Nursing. Since 2000, Dana has worked at St. Vincent Hospital as a registered nurse, and she currently coordinates the Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner Program.  Dana is married with three children.  Welcome, Dana!

Welcome Kyle Paal!

IMG_2825The Facilities Planning and Management department welcomed Kyle Paal as an HVAC Specialist on December 7, 2015!  Kyle is originally from Luxemburg, WI, and has an associates degree in HVAC/Refrigeration.  Before his employment at UWGB, Kyle spent 11 years at K.Kelly, Inc.  Kyle is married with a child on the way, and absolutely loves to hunt and fish!  Welcome, Kyle!

Welcome Erinn Aubry!

IMG_2824GBOSS (Green Bay One Stop Shop) welcomed Erinn Aubry as an Enrollment Services Front Desk Advisor on December 9, 2015!  Erin is originally from Oconto, WI, and has a degree in Business Administration with a Finance emphasis and a Human Development Minor from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay.  Before her employment at GBOSS, Erinn worked at Rassmussen College for two years.  Erinn is married to Erik Aubry, and enjoys spending time with their two rescue dogs, Layla (an American Bulldog) and Charlie (an American Staffordshire Terrier).  Welcome, Erinn!

Welcome Tara Dowling!

Tara DowlingThe Department of Athletics welcomes Tara Dowling as the Assistant Swimming and Diving Coach!  Tara is originally from Marquette, Michigan, and has a degree in Health and Fitness Management from Northern Michigan University, where she was a three-time captain of the NMU Swim and Dive Team.  She has previously served as the Head Swim Coach at De Pere High School.  Tara enjoys running, biking, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.  Welcome, Tara!

Welcome Raelynn Bohrmueller!

IMG_1672The Office of Admissions and the Registrar’s Office welcome Raelynn Bohrmueller as a Student Services Specialist!  Raelynn is a May, 2015 graduate of UWGB, with a bachelor’s degree in Human Development.  She previously worked at Home Instead Senior Care.  Her sister is currently a freshman at UWGB, and is pictured with Raelynn (Raelynn is the one on the right). Raelynn grew up on a goat farm and one of her favorite things to do is shoot archery.  Welcome, Raelynn!

Pic for HR BlogThe Office of Human Resources welcomes Julie Flenz, who started as a Human Resources Assistant on August 10, 2015.  As a proud UW-Green Bay Alumna, Julie has worked in many different areas since graduation. Prior to starting at UWGB, she was a Staffing Assistant at a local staffing agency, an office manager for a mental health clinic, and a receptionist for a recycling company. Along with those positions, she has also been building her Mary Kay business for the last nine years. Julie is originally from Appleton. Welcome, Julie!

Welcome Dana Strohm!

strohm, dana 8x10The Social Work Program welcomes Dana Strohm, who will be starting as a Lecturer and Child Welfare Coordinator on August 24, 2015. Dana is a graduate of UW-Whitewater and UW-Milwaukee where he obtained a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work.  He specifically holds expertise in the practice area of child welfare.  For the past four years, he has been working as a child protective services supervisor in the north central part of Wisconsin.  He also has provided adjunct teaching opportunities for the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, UW-Whitewater, Northcentral Technical College, and Mid-State technical college, since obtaining his master’s degree.  Dana provides community service in the form of community organizing, engaged as the Chair of the Waupaca County Caucus 4 Progress, organizing the Mission of Hope: Waupaca event last April, and has had numerous appointments on community boards related to the education and social services of children.  Dana is also an avid traveler and reader of historical thrillers in the fiction genre.  He is originally from Lake Geneva, WI.  Welcome, Dana!

He was a Home Builder for the past 25 years, is a local politician, and a avid runner.  Welcome, John!

Welcome Sara Krouse!

IMG_0035The departments of Natural and Applied Sciences and Human Biology welcome Sara Krouse who will be starting as an Academic Department Associate on August 24, 2015.  Sara has previously served as a librarian in the WI Department of Corrections for five years, the last three working closely with inmates with severe mental health needs. She earned her Bachelors in English from Carthage College and Masters in Library and Information Science from UW-Milwaukee. She is looking forward to becoming involved in her new community Algoma in the art and downtown growth. Welcome, Sara!

Welcome Loretta Rafter!

Loretta's picLoretta Rafter started as a University Services Associate 2 on September 22, 2014.  She provides support for the American Intercultural Center, Incusive Excellence, and the Pride Center.  She is originally from Chicago, and moved to Green Bay 10 years ago.  Before working for the University, she worked as in a temporary role at the Phoenix Bookstore for 7 years.  Welcome Loretta!
