Welcome Nicole Schneider!

On Monday, August 23, 2021, Nicole Schneider started as a lecturer in Social Work.

Nicole comes to us from Green Bay, WI. Nicole was previously employed at the Freedom House. Nicole is involved in the Hospital Sisters Health System as the Vice Chair and Northwestern University School of Education and Social Policy as a Board Member.

In her free time, Nicole enjoys reading, walking, and gardening.

Nicole has a MS and a PhD in Social Policy and Management from Brandeis University, a MSSW from Columbia University, and a BSW from Loyola University Chicago.

Welcome William Jacobson!

On Monday, August 23, 2021, William Jacobson started as a lecturer in Environmental Science and Geoscience.

William comes to us from Appleton, WI. William was previously employed in the mining and exploration industry. William is involved in the Upward Bound Program, works with middle school science teachers and students, and collaborated with educators in local museums and science centers.

In his free time, William enjoys cross country skiing, playing jazz on the saxophone, and traveling. William is married to his wife with one son.

William has a Ph.D. in Geosciences from UW-Milwaukee, a Masters Degree in Physical Science from Emporia State University, Kansas, and a Bachelors Degree in Geology from UW-Oshkosh.
