Welcome Kevin Jaklin!

On Monday, August 23, 2021, Kevin Jacklin started as a Lecturer in Finance with the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business.

Kevin comes to us from Green Bay, WI. Kevin was previously employed at CLA Wealth Advisory. Kevin is involved in the UW-Oshkosh Board of Directors as the Treasurer, the CFA Society of Milwaukee as a Board Member, and the Marinette Lions Club as the past President.

In his free time, Kevin enjoys traveling and playing in golf tournaments. Kevin has a spouse named Lynn.

Kevin has a MBA and BBA from UW-Oshkosh and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.

Welcome Mohammad Rizwen Ur Rahman!

On August 23, 2021, the Resch School of Engineering  welcomed Mohammad Rizwen Ur Rahman as an Assistant Professor of Engineering.

Mohammad is from Dhaka, Bangladesh. He was previously working as a graduate teaching assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Mohammad has volunteered with “Make a Difference Day” and helped winterize the homes of older adults, including cleaning and raking leaves.

Mohammad enjoys traveling and gardening. He is a PhD candidate at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. Mohammad also has a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from UW-Milwaukee, and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Khulna University of Engineering & Technology.

Welcome Misty Neal!

On Monday, August 23, 2021, Misty Neal started as a lecturer and Health Information Management & Technology director with the Nursing & Health Studies department.

Misty comes to us from Vienna, Georgia.

In her free time, Misty enjoys attending baseball games, going to the lake, crafts, and time with my family. Misty is married with one son.

Misty has a MBA with Healthcare concentration, a RHIA credential, and a BA in Health Information Management.

Welcome Zhuoli Axelton!

On Monday, August 23, 2021, Zhuoli Axelton started as an Assistant Professor in Accounting for the Austin E. Cofrin School of Business.

Zhuoli comes to us from Boise, ID. Zhuoli was previously employed at Washington State University. Zhuoli is involved as a volunteer for VITA programs.

In her free time, Zhuoli enjoys yoga, skiing, and hiking. Zhuoli is married with two children.

Zhuoli has a PhD in Accounting.

Welcome Carlos Gonzalez-Valle!

On Monday, August 23, 2021, Carlos Gonzalez-Valle started as an Assistant Professor-Mechanical Engineering in the Resch School of Engineering.

Carlos comes to us from Chilpancingo, Guerrero, Mexico. Carlos previously worked as a part time instructor for several courses at the University of Guanajuato and was in charge of the main activities in the IPHEL lab. Carlos is involved in different student chapters and associations such as ASME, Pi Tau Sigma, and Tau Beta Pi.

In his free time, Carlos enjoys reading, watching movies, solving puzzles, biking, playing tennis, computers and video games.

Carlos has a PhD in Mechanical Engineering and a MS in Mechanical Engineering from Pennsylvania State University and a MS in Mechanical Engineering and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Guanajuato.
