  • The U.S. Department of Labor’s Wage and Hour Division releases final Overtime rule

    Effective May 18, 2016 the US Department of Labor finalized a rule to update overtime protections for US Workers.  The final rule, which takes effect December 1, 2016 raises the minimum salary threshold from $23,660 to $47,476 per year.  However this does not impact teachers, as anyone who’s primary duty is teaching is exempted from…
