Rising Phoenix Manager

This position reports to the Executive Director of Early College Programs and will oversee the Rising Phoenix Program, including the planning, facilitation, and evaluation of services, assisting in the development of program policies and procedures, managing student recruitment and admissions, and supervising daily operations. Key responsibilities include budget coordination, data compilation, program evaluation, and staff supervision. The program offers cohorts of students from partner schools the opportunity to concurrently fulfill their high school graduation requirements and UW-Green Bay’s Associate of Arts and Sciences degree requirements at the same time.

The Rising Phoenix Manager will supervise and train Rising Phoenix Student Success Coaches, develop, refine, and document program processes, and ensure compliance with institutional policies. The Manager will teach sections of the First Year Seminar course for Rising Phoenix students each fall semester. Within the Division of Student Access and Success, the Manager will provide leadership aligned with the University’s mission and goals related to equity, diversity, and inclusion.

Administrative Services Professional, Wisconsin Training Registries

This position reports to the Executive Manager of the Wisconsin Training Registries and provides administrative support for the Wisconsin Training Registries within the Division of Continuing Education & Workforce Training. This position is responsible for providing a high level of customer service for the Wisconsin Training Registries. As a liaison with internal and external people, this position interacts with a diverse audience of individuals and organizations by communicating procedural information, interpreting and implementing UW-System regulations and policies, and resolving complex problems as they occur. Administrative support includes registration, billing, payment, updating website and coordinating program logistics. Program Specialist, Business & Government Outreach

This position reports to the Business and Government Outreach Manager withing the Division of Continuing Education & Workforce Training. Bilingual Student Services Specialist

This position reports to the Student Services Manager and interacts with students as they matriculate by providing administrative support and coordination throughout student processes including admission, registration, financial aid, academic progress, graduation, international education, and course scheduling. Provides information to students, faculty, and staff regarding related processes and maintains and updates student records. Strives to create a welcoming, equitable, and inclusive work environment.

Assists clients (i.e., enrolled and prospective students, parents, faculty, staff and the general public) with routine transactions and inquiries, educates clients about university policies, procedures and resources, advises clients about alternative courses of action, and works collaboratively with other university offices and external agencies on behalf of clients to expedite problem resolution.  Specialists respond proactively to phone, e-mail and in-person inquiries and transactional requests by clarifying the request, diagnosing the problem, researching the resolution, acting on the request, and following up as appropriate. Specialists make recommendations to the Enrollment Services Manager, the Enrollment Services Directors and Dean on procedural and/or business practice improvements and help track customer service metrics to continuously improve student services and satisfaction.

Cashier

This position operates under the general supervision of the Bursar and primarily reviews, approves, and advises on a variety of advanced financial transactions. May prepare some financial transactions and reconciles transactions. Recommends, controls and process improvements, troubleshoots advanced financial errors. Maintains financial records, provides administrative processing support, and provides customer service for staff and customers in an assigned program area to support program financial management.

Position responsible for completing cash; check; credit card; and other electronic payment transactions with maintaining daily transaction record that will balance to system at end of day.  Provides friendly, helpful customer service to customers at the Cashier window and is responsible for overseeing the training and daily activities of seasonal cashiers. Position also serves as “author” in report writing software, responsible for creating and maintaining queries utilized by department.

This position is within the in the Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Training and reports to the Continuing Professional Education Program Manager. Provides general administrative support, manages and facilitates outreach training and development programs, including communication with instructors. Strengthens partnerships, ensures adherence to policy, and assists with program administration to promote stable and productive relationships between the university and local community. Strives to expand and ensure access to programs, facilities, and educational services to diverse audiences. Assists with tracking and managing the outreach program budget.

Supports program manager and other team members organizing and coordinating events, programs, conferences, and trainings as directed.

Educational programming focused on the areas of healthcare and human services, social services, nonprofits, community services and other areas.

Supports functions of the Wisconsin Caregiver Academy, Continuing Professional Education, and the Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI), and collaborates with Program Specialists to support outreach efforts and follow-up communication.
