On Tuesday, March 15, 2022, Jennifer started as the Library Assistant with the Library (Manitowoc).

Jen is from Chicago, IL and earned her Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri – Columbia.

Prior to coming to work at UWGB, Jen worked at the Manitowoc Public Library and the Cincinnati Public Library.

During her free time she loves to cook and bake, thrifting, and home improvement projects. In addition, she spends time volunteering at the Lakeshore Humane Society.

Welcome Patti Jo Wagner!

On Tuesday, March 15, 2022, Patti Jo started as the Library Assistant II with the Library (Manitowoc).

Patti Jo is from Two Rivers, WI and has an Associate’s of Art degree from Silver Lake College. In addition she holds advanced training and certificates in Ayurvedic Yoga Therapy, Lifestyle Coaching, Pranayama, Mindfulness Meditation, Yoga Nidra and Yin Yoga.

For the past 15+ years she have been primarily focused on helping others restore health and happiness through Ayurveda and Yoga. She has also spent the past 5+ years in the public schools as a paraprofessional helping children with special needs embody valuable life skills needed to navigate school and home environments with less stress and greater confidence and enjoyment.

In her free time, Patti Jo love being in nature, hiking, biking, meditating, listening to music, dancing, doing art, reading, learning, teaching others “the art of slowing down” and spending time with my husband, fur babies and her son who lives in Arizona.

University Recreation – Faculty/Staff Offerings

Did you know there are many FREE recreation offerings for UW-Green Bay faculty and staff?

The Kress Events Center includes a fitness center with state-of-the-art equipment, lap pool, group fitness studio, several gyms, locker rooms, outdoor recreation center, and more!

Understanding what is available to faculty/staff has been confusing in the past so UREC developed a Faculty/Staff Offering Packet to cover all of the details on memberships, facilities, programs, and more.

System Engineer III

This position reports to the Lead Systems Administration and is an important part of supporting the many systems that are used across our campuses by responding to service requests from end users, trouble shooting issues, and working with a team to keep systems up to date.  This role creates and maintains portions of the institution’s technical infrastructure by performing systems engineering work that is complex, project related, and non-routine, with the ability to solve complex problems and devise work approaches to the work being performed to ensure the long-term requirements of systems operations and administration are met under limited supervision.

Program Specialist, Lifelong Learning Institute

This position reports to the Executive Regional Manager, Continuing Professional Education and serves as the Program Specialist for the Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI), which has over 500 members in the Green Bay, Manitowoc, Marinette, and Sheboygan area communities. All aspects of the day-to-day activities and functions are managed by this position. In addition, this position identifies various internal and external partnerships to carry out the general mission of LLI and to promote within the various communities.

This position continually researches the market to facilitate course and program development for the fall and spring catalogs.  Course catalog database management and accuracy each semester, with each semester having 160-200+ classes, along with semester registration planning and management.  This position also works with LLI Advisor and financial specialist to create and monitor annual budget.  In addition to a student worker, this position also supervises over 300 volunteer members who serve in a variety of roles, including a Board of Directors. Lastly, this position coordinates site logistics, schedule courses and identifies resources to support LLI program and members. Work with venues each year on contracts, schedules class venue, and manage class changes.

Academic Advisor (Manitowoc/Sheboygan)

This position reports to the Director of Academic Advising and promotes and supports the philosophy and mission of the Academic Advising Office, Enrollment Services Division and university-wide initiatives related to the student learning experience and academic success. This individual will advise current and new students on academic programs and requirements relevant to their academic and career development. This position will support both the Manitowoc and Sheboygan campuses.

Business Development Specialist

This position reports to the Government & Economic Development Executive Manager and will serve as a direct contact with area businesses and support the ongoing relationship with the institution. The role is responsible for exploring new and strategic partnerships within community. Deliver and assist in planning outreach program activities and customized trainings. The individual will maintain a calendar of outreach and engagement events and ensure a high level of visibility for UWGB. Active involvement in advisory boards, economic development organizations, and chamber groups. This position will interact with senior level leaders and must maintain a professional demeanor to build trust and confidence. This role tracks and monitors outreach efforts conducted from phone calls, emails, and meetings. In addition, it will maintain a database of contacts and coordinate the marketing and communication efforts appropriately and will be knowledgeable of partnerships and programs across the university to support other areas and serve as a referral agent.
