New Student Transitions & Family Engagement Manager

This position reports to the Director of the Student Engagement Center and will actively contribute to campus by facilitating on-going new student transition opportunities, and family engagement with an emphasis on increasing student retention and supporting student success. This position will monitor onboarding data and work to ensure all students coming to all four campus locations are prepared and Phoenix Ready. The Manager will be responsible for gathering data from primary and secondary sources, identifying, analyzing and interpreting trends from the data, and work collaboratively with Housing and Academic Advising to ensure thorough onboarding of students. This position supervises the Student Ambassador team which supports Orientation, Campus tours, and Welcome programs. This position will be responsible for facilitating programming that supports the University’s goals regarding Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. This position will work, in collaboration with others, to create a safe and inclusive environment for all UW Green Bay students where all feel a sense of place and pride.

Oversees the daily management of programs, services, activities, facilities, policies and/or processes in order to support student success in various areas of student affairs. Signature & Cultural Events Coordinator

This position reports to the Director of Student Engagement and is responsible for the planning and preparation of University Commencement ceremonies and Graduation Resource Fair each semester and monitoring the budget for all four UWGB campuses (Green Bay, Marinette, Manitowoc, and Sheboygan). This position will also lead and coordinate culturally focused programs such as Hispanic Heritage Month, Black History Month, and other key cultural programs. This position will be responsible for facilitating programming that supports the University’s goals regarding Equity, Diversity and Inclusion. This position will work, in collaboration with others, to create a safe and inclusive environment for all UW Green Bay students where all feel a sense of place and pride.

Assistant Professor – Computer Science

First Year Experience Manager

This position reports to the Assistant Vice Chancellor of Student Access & Success and manages and coordinates key components of UW-Green Bay’s First Year Experience which includes First Year Seminar, Gateway to Phoenix Success, and collaborative student success programming across the university. This person leads the development, implementation, and ongoing operations of the First Year Experience in order to meet strategic, departmental, and student success goals.

In order to build a holistic First Year Experience for students, this highly collaborative position will develop stable and productive relationships across the university including the Division of University Inclusivity & Student Affairs, the First Year Seminar Faculty Coordinator, Enrollment Services, and the Division of Student Access & Success. This position will serve as the co-coordinator for UW-Green Bay’s first-generation student success efforts.

Student Success Coach, Rising Phoenix (5 Vacancies)

This position reports to the Executive Director, Early College Programs and serves as a Student Success Coach for the Rising Phoenix Early College High School Program, an innovative program providing cohorts of students in partner schools the opportunity to earn an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree along with their high school diploma. The Student Success Coach works closely with school district staff and provides academic advising and social and emotional support for high school students enrolled in the Rising Phoenix program. The Student Success Coach manages the orientation to college process, provides academic advising and major/career exploration, maintains students’ records, and works with the schools to establish the alignment between UW-Green Bay courses and high school courses.  The Student Success Coach will provide services that support the University’s mission and goals regarding equity, diversity, and inclusion.

There are 5 positions serving districts in different regions of Wisconsin. All positions will include some remote work from a home office.  Depending on the position and the school districts served, travel to schools and/or campuses will be a maximum of 3 days/week. Travel to campus will be required for divisional and campus-wide meetings at key times throughout the year.

Application Administrator II

This position reports to the Assistant Registrar and configures, integrates, administers, and provides advanced and varied consultation, project management, and operational support of highly complex applications or services with a large number of users. Anticipates issues and devises resolution methodology to support the business operations of the institution.

Assists with maintenance of SIS data and functions, testing of upgrade bundles to be applied to SIS, upgrades to ImageNow and reporting enrollment/degree data to the National Student Clearinghouse. Maintains a functional role to include all aspects of record data entry, assisting Enrollment Services Front Desk Staff, providing direct service to students as needed, and supporting institutional staff in their daily work.

Functions as a developer of queries and other reports as directed by the Assistant Registrar or Registrar or as other staff members request data.
