Facilities Maintenance Specialist – Locksmith (Deadline Extended)

This position reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and is responsible for the operation, maintenance and repair of locksets and door hardware. This position will also perform general inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance of campus building structures including doors locks hardware and various campus equipment. Duties also include the maintenance of an appropriate parts inventory, ordering parts and providing professional advice on the materials and time required to complete various tasks. This position may also direct the work of student and/or University Staff Temporary employees.

Congratulations Parker Nadeau!

Starting July 24, 2019, Parker Nadeau will transition from an Student Services Specialist – Information to a Technology Support Specialist in the Division of Information Technology on the Manitowoc Campus.

Parker is a member of the McKinley Academy Board of Directors for 2019-2020 and is from Manitowoc. He holds an Associates of Arts and Science degree from UW-Manitowoc, and a Bachelor of Arts degree from UW-Green Bay.

On-campus and community service work study job fair

Head Coach (Men’s and Women’s Tennis)

This position reports to the Director of Athletics and is responsible for teaching and developing sport specific skills and coaching strategies to enhance the athletic performance of student-athletes; develop and maintain sport budget; schedule and organize practice and competitions; ensure that the program is operating in compliance with the NCAA, conference and university rules; develop and enforce written team rules and expectations; recruit quality student-athletes that are intent on graduating from the institution; assist in the monitoring and maintenance of academic progress and eligibility of team members; to support the philosophy, policies and procedures of the department of athletics; and to promote intercollegiate athletics as an integral part of the university.

Technology Support Specialist (Sheboygan Campus)

This position reports to the Campus Executive Officer at the Sheboygan campus and is responsible for providing operational and technical support for classroom technology, videoconferencing, and distance education systems. This position will assist the faculty and staff by answering questions and providing training for all classroom technology and media equipment. In addition, this position will also serve as the help desk technician “in the field” by helping solve client problems, conducting on-site training as needed, and working with the Help Desk at the main branch to resolve workstation and other technology related issues as needed.

Network Administrator (Re-announced)

This position reports to the Manager of Network and Infrastructure and part of a network team responsible for the design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of the University’s multi-campus wide ethernet data network and its interface to the State data networks and the Internet. This position requires expertise in a wide range of network technologies and security, including the deployment of firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems, security appliances and gateways, servers, storage, and network-based services. Primary duties will include maintenance, protection, and recovery of computer networks, hardware, software, and related systems; In addition, the position works closely with the end users to identify and resolve any issues.
