On February 18, 2019, the Manitowoc and Sheboygan Academic Advising departments welcomed Jean Fritz as an Academic Advisor.
Jena has previously worked for Sheboygan County Economic Support for 3 years, Bank First National for 2 years, and UW-Sheboygan for 4 years. She holds a Masters degree in Student Personnel Administration from Concordia University and a Bachelor of Arts – Spanish from UW-La Crosse.
In her free time, Jena enjoys gardening, baking, and sports when time permits. With two small children, she really enjoys soaking up every moment of their childhood. Her family has a cabin in Shawano and if she is not at home on the weekends, that’s where she will be! Jena plays in local recreational sports leagues and is currently fully engulfed in raising her two children. She hopes to find other ways to be involved and connect to the community in the coming months.
Jena has been married to her husband, Drew, for 5 years and they have two sons, Oliver who is 3 and Emmitt who is 6 months. She is originally from Cascade, WI.
She has been out of the realm of higher education for some time but is looking forward to “hitting the ground running” and getting back into it. She has a passion for helping people discover their potential and looks forward to what the future will bring!
Welcome, Jena!
