Join the team as the Communications Specialist with primary responsibility for furthering donor relations through fact-based creative writing, preparing one-to-one personal and mass communication messaging, and helping identify philanthropically spirited alumni and friends who have a demonstrated interest in supporting public higher education. This leadership position offers you the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students who seek higher education to be the best they can be. The Advancement team had its most successful year ever in 2022, securing over $13 million in gift commitments.
The Communications Specialist: researches and prepares case statements; crafts gift & grant proposals; composes print and digital content for Advancement and Alumni Relations; and conducts individualized donor research.
This is an outstanding opportunity for a candidate to distinguish themselves by growing professionally, refining key skillsets, and expanding writing capabilities and expertise to include issue-based research. Professional development opportunities are accessible through the Education Advisory Board (EAB). Any of the four campus locations, Green Bay, Manitowoc, Marinette, or Sheboygan, can serve as your day-to-day office.
