Welcome Dana Strohm!

strohm, dana 8x10The Social Work Program welcomes Dana Strohm, who will be starting as a Lecturer and Child Welfare Coordinator on August 24, 2015. Dana is a graduate of UW-Whitewater and UW-Milwaukee where he obtained a Bachelor’s and Master’s in Social Work.  He specifically holds expertise in the practice area of child welfare.  For the past four years, he has been working as a child protective services supervisor in the north central part of Wisconsin.  He also has provided adjunct teaching opportunities for the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point, UW-Whitewater, Northcentral Technical College, and Mid-State technical college, since obtaining his master’s degree.  Dana provides community service in the form of community organizing, engaged as the Chair of the Waupaca County Caucus 4 Progress, organizing the Mission of Hope: Waupaca event last April, and has had numerous appointments on community boards related to the education and social services of children.  Dana is also an avid traveler and reader of historical thrillers in the fiction genre.  He is originally from Lake Geneva, WI.  Welcome, Dana!
