Suzanne started on UW-Green Bay on October 14, 2013, as a Student Billing Coordinator. Prior to starting at UW-Green Bay Suzanne worked for Brown County for six years in their payroll department. She is from Green Bay and is married with two kids.

- Participants are encouraged to bring a sweatshirt, blanket and/or pillow for the Nidra portion
- This event is for ALL levels – experienced or new to yoga, you are sure to find your place on the mat
Get your sweat on from temple to toe. Led by certified Yoga instructor, Liz. This 90 minute practice starts with a flowing Power Yoga practice, and will be closed with a deep meditation (Nidra) where you will be invited to surrender to the ultimate state of letting go.
Mid semester can be stressful, why not work it out on the mat with a good sweat followed by a chance to take time for yourself and simply just breathe.

Wellness Committee Fruit & Vegetable Challenge
The Wellness Committee is sponsoring a month long nutrition challenge encouraging employees to track their fruit and vegetable consumption and increase their daily servings.
Throughout the month of November, employees are encouraged to keep track of their daily servings of fruit and vegetables on the tracking forms provided. At the end of each week, participants will turn in their tracking form to wellness@uwgb.edu and weekly drawings will be held for prizes. At the end of the month, a grand prize drawing will be held, with the winner receiving two Green Bay Gamblers Tickets.

Gail started on October 14, 2013, as the Director of Residence Life. Prior to starting at UW-Green Bay she was employed at the University of Nebraska-Kearney for 14 years. She earned her BA in Broadcast Sales and Management and her MAE in Speech Communications. Her hometown is Bruning, Nebraska and she is married to Alan.

ERA Special Election Period for Employees with Same-Sex Spouses
2013 ERA Special Election Period for Employees with Same-Sex Spouses – October 14 – November 13, 2013
This email applies only to employees with a same-sex spouse.
Due to recent tax law changes, if you have a legally recognized same-sex spouse, you may now claim medical and dependent care expenses for your spouse and spouse’s children through the Employee Reimbursement Account (ERA) program. This applies to 2013 ERA contributions to the Health Care and the Dependent Day Care Flexible Spending Account (FSA) programs.
You may enroll in the ERA program or increase your election for 2013 by submitting a Change in Status form directly to WageWorks by November 13, 2013. We recommend that you submit the form as soon as possible to allow for processing before the end of the calendar year.
If you are already enrolled in the ERA program for 2013, and you do not plan to increase your election, you may still submit claims incurred by your spouse or spouse’s children for the entire 2013 plan year (January 1, 2013 – March 15, 2014).
Forms must be submitted to WageWorks via fax at 1-866-672-4780 or U.S. Mail to: PO BOX 1840, Tallahassee, Fl 32302-1840.
Please note that if you want to enroll in the ERA program for 2014, you must enroll online or via paper application by November 1, 2013. See the Annual Benefit Enrollment (ABE) website for more information: www.uwsa.edu/abe/era

New this year- the Dog Jog, a separate group just for dogs and their humans. The Dog Jog will start at the back of the 2 mile event.

It takes about an hour to go through the teaching sequence with an “end” (similar to a baseball inning) or two to practice a game situation.The ice house is about 40 degrees. Please plan accordingly and bring light weight gloves and hats. Wear warm, loose fitting clothing as you will need to stretch while delivering the stone.The Learn 2 Curl program is sponsored by the Green Bay Curling Club and is open to the public, therefore spouses, children and friends are encouraged to attend!
