On Monday, February 21, 2022, Theresa started as the Financial Specialist II with Facilities Management & Planning.

Theresa is from Escanaba, MI and has a BS in Business from Lake Superior State University and an Associates in Business from Bay College. She has been working in higher education for more than 23 years.

In her free time, the most valued time is spent with family and friends, but she has a passion for playing poker as well.

Administrative Assistant III (OPEN TO UW SYSTEM EMPLOYEES ONLY)

This position reports to the Department Chair and provides general administrative support, while exercising discretion, to the administrator of a department or division of the institution or to the administrator of multiple institution programs, services, and activities.

Under general direction of the Chairs of Humanities, Art & Design, Music, and Theatre & Dance, this position performs budgetary and administrative support for faculty/staff members within Humanities, the Writing Center, First Nations Studies, Gateways to Phoenix Success, Art & Design, Music, and Theatre & Dance. The number of faculty ranges from 120 to 130+.

On Monday, February 14, 2022, Alan started as the Associate Athletic Director for Development with Athletics.

Alan is from Nauvoo, IL and has a BA in Communications from Graceland University, a MS in Sports Management from Western Illinois University and currently working on his MBA with Louisiana Tech University.

His previous employers before coming to UWBG were, Louisiana Tech University, Southeast Missouri State, and McNeese State University.

During his free time, Alan enjoys getting outdoors (hiking and golfing) and playing basketball.

Cofrin School of Business Program Outreach Specialist

This position will be housed in the Cofrin School of Business and reports jointly to the Dean of the Cofrin School of Business and the Associate Vice Chancellor for Graduate Studies and delivers and assists with planning outreach program activities, strengthens partnerships, and assists with program administration to promote stable and productive relationships between the university and local community. Strives to expand and ensure access to programs, facilities, and educational services to diverse audiences. May assist with tracking and managing the outreach program budget.

This individual will be responsible for promotion, marketing, learner recruitment, and industry-School opportunity creation for graduate and select undergraduate programs offered by the Cofrin School of Business. This individual will identify existing and emerging workforce and professional development needs, and will participate in regional and statewide networks to collaborate with business and industry representatives and other partners on workforce and community economic development. Successful candidates will form meaningful partnerships and cross-marketing opportunities with the UWGB Division of Continuing Education and Community Engagement.

Student Success Coach, Rising Phoenix Early College High School (3 Vacancies; 2 Green Bay, 1 Manitowoc)

These positions report to the Executive Manager, GEAR UP Services or the Executive Manager, Rising Phoenix and will serve as a Student Success Coach for the Rising Phoenix Early College High School Program, an innovative program providing cohorts of students in partner schools the opportunity to earn an Associate of Arts and Sciences degree along with their high school diploma. The Student Success Coach works closely with school district staff including School Counselors and Principals as well as providing individual and group advising and support for high school students enrolled in the Rising Phoenix program. Student Success Coaches partner with school district staff to monitor high school graduation requirements, provide one on one career coaching, and bridge the gap between high school and university student success strategies. The Student Success Coaches will be responsible for instructing (or co-instructing) a First Year Seminar course that serves as the on-ramp and cornerstone of the program. Student Success Coaches provide transition support including post-secondary planning through college applications, financial aid processes, and scholarship searching.

The Student Success Coach will be responsible for facilitating student resources that support the University’s mission and goals regarding equity, diversity, and inclusion. This position works collaboratively with the Rising Phoenix Program Manager, GEAR UP Services Program Manager and UW-Green Bay Enrollment Services offices to determine alignment between UW-Green Bay and high school courses, manage the student application process, maintain student records, provide academic advising for students, and support student growth.
